Congrats on winning! Do you train you wrist a certain way because it feels like mine are going to snap after i do a few exercises that involve a lot of strain on them
You should work on wrist flexibility and mobility and also do a lot of wrist stretching after you're done with the workout. Then of course take it easy and follow the progressions so it's easier on your wrists. For example if you're used to doing let's say a straddle planche with your hands to the sides and you want to work on the supine straddle planche it's a good idea to start from the easier variation to give time to the body to adapt
Filippo Cardoni what exercise train wrist flexibility and mobility? I want to try. I m about start calisthenic movement ( currently i want master l sit front lever and pull up plus dragon flag and archer push up)
What I personally do is start out on my knees with straight arms and elbows and i shift my weight forward and back until it feels pretty warmed up, then I do the same with the hands pointing to the sides and back and hitting all the angles. then you can do the same motion but in circles and so on...If I remember correctly there's a video on the GMB Fitness channel here on youtube. Just type wrist warmup and you'll find it! then you can add some other exercises if you feel it's not enough!
Filippo Cardoni thanks for the advice. Have you ever tried those exercise you mention ? How is the result ?
Also use wrist wraps for when you do something that pushes your limits, or even when you do a lot of repetitive stuff. Take off the wraps only once in a while to make sure you can do the movements without them.
