I think you're making the right decision. That fold in the leather is inexcusable. I can't believe how companies dont protect their product before and during shipping. Im always nervous when I unpack a bag.... and I should be excited!!
The handle “spread” is much bigger on the tan one too. I have this bag but it’s a large in natural print, it’s too big for me but I love the black bag you have. Think I will purchase that one next.
Yes, I would have returned the ostrich Brenna also. The color & style couldn’t hold a candle to the black Barlow. Plus that crushed corner was not good. Your going to laugh but for some reason I never liked the ostrich embossing. It reminds me of the measles or chicken pox. But that’s just me. Lololol
Yes i.ve heard that before, warts. When I think of it, i could stick to pebble thats real.. dooney,s ostrich & reptile is embossed not the real stuff.. oh well, i.d be paying a much bigger price for real skins/hide! Hope I don't get tired of it!

No the grey one is going back it doesn't make me happy, did order a black ostrich in zip zip (again ) becuz the size, the drop is perfect for me. I would never use the grey and like the size if the Barlow better than the Brenna. Thank you! Yes i know about lost but not forgotten!
