This is violin playing of the highest calibre. Narita is one of the most underrated young violinists currently. Since first hearing him in the Queen Elizabeth competition many years ago (of all contestants, both my teacher and I had found him the most exciting), I have been waiting for his star to rise higher. An extraordinary talent.
I completely agree with you. After hearing him in the QE Comp, I had to find him! We've recorded for 4 yrs. but he's decided to pursue a career in his native Japan... Sadly most of the world will never get a chance to hear this great artist...
