When Ukraine dismantled the monument to the founders of Odessa, the first thing that came to my mind was "If you are dismantling monuments to a city's founders, you are an occupier."

Right. I had many Ukrainian friends while I was living in the US, where I had spent most of my life. We always got along just fine. The ethnic hatred was artificially enflamed by Washington.
If someone is hindered by monuments, history, language, culture, faith and traditions of the people, then this means that someone is trying to build their own state on someone else's land.
very similar with Kosovo - the same rewrite of history, hatred of the significant other-Serbs and intolerance of everyone else who is not Albanian and the same appropriation of the Serbian history, culture, monuments w/the approval and encouragement by the West - mind you Fanatical Muslims "cherish" Medieval Serbian Christian Orthodox monasteries and churches ....they are NATO and Bill Clinton official lovers ....
In any historical narrative of theirs, they just take Russian and Polish history and just attribute it to Ukraine, that 20th century recent political nation.
Never underestimate the power of propaganda. Many relatively intelligent people I know have been totally zombified, just like Ukrainians. It will take a lot of time and effort to reverse it, if it's even possible at all.
Its called extermination. And currently right now, the Russian military has exterminated over 4 entire Ukrainian and Nato/ Mercenary armies in eastern Ukaine. They have slaughter 1/4 of the age group of 26 to 65 men whos only crime was either being racist toward anything Russian or from the poor working class who have been forced into consription. This entire civil war is being carried out by the minority Ukrainians who are in power. Its not going to end very well for them. Zelinski is out of conscripts to abduct. He has no choice but to conscript the ages 18 to 26 if he intends to keep throwing meat men for cannon fodder. This age group have had 10 yrs of indoctrination of racial hatred of anything Russian. They will not make very good soldiers either due to they now have been spoiled by western values, are very soft and feel entitled. They will fold like cheap lawn chairs @ the sound of raining artillery shells and flying drones all around. Thousands will refuse to go to the front. The US is going to abandon them very soon. The US ALWAYS ABANDONS THEIR PUPPET REGIMES. ALWAYSSSSS!!!. They are going to dump Ukraine entirely on Nato.
Yep, but that also have to do how Media reported from Ukraine before 2014 - sometimes it even was called "the most corrupt Country in EU" - but that changed so fast and everyone seems to believe it. Some Colleques even dont believe it when NATIVE Ukrainians from eastern Ukraine in our Company tell them the Truth ... its just ridiculous...
This phenomenon is new in the "civilized democratic 'western'(even if it's in Eastern) Europe. The Baltics states have been denying citizen rights to people that were born in those countries on the grounds that they're Russian. The authorities have even gone so far as to ban home schooling just to deny children of ethnic Russians to speak their own language. And all this nonsense about "non citizens" in the Baltics occurs under the security umbrella of the U.S. No higher level of hypocrisy than this by the handlers of these countries.
How Ukraine was taught to turn on Russia and persecute the ethnic Russians is disgusting, but it was the USA that started this program and encouraged the far right in Ukraine like Azov I'm British and can only apologise for our government also going along with this.
The USA has a long history of doing the exact same thing in Central and South America, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. As soon as the Maidan started in 2014 I could see its the same playbook.
I'm British and can only apologise for our government also going along with this. The English government committed even more horrific crimes against the Irish population just one of them was to kill the Irish language.
America is the strong arm of London. Its the Brits trying to convince Yankees to send Atacms and F16s to be used on Russia and start nuclear war. They really think theyll rise from the ashes and restore the empire.

USAid is CIA. Charity worker is an easy cover for CIA agents. Anything they can put a positive spin on gets classed as charity e.g. the USAid school books supplied to Afghanistan in the 80's that were designed to make students more radicalized. Fun fact, Talib means student. Taliban means group of students.
I have Ukrainian neighbours and they didn't seem to like it when I said they spoke Ukrainian. They corrected me and said they spoke Russian. That is when I knew....
I’m an older Ukrainian from the Soviet generation. It is very sad to see the path Ukraine chose. We are one people with Russians. Modern Ukraine tries its hardest to emphasize any differences we have. They focus on dividing people rather than uniting. It’s because the Ukrainian government knows that Ukrainian national identity is flimsy.
Yeah, I was around before the USSR disbanded. A year ago I saw this propaganda documentary to justify Ukraine is a different language because of some grammar differences, so I commented doesn't that just mean it's more a dialect and aren't they also Slavic too? I was answered by some prick: be careful who you call a slav. 🙄
The trouble with Ukraine is that the country is not governed by Ukrainians. It's in the control of puppets of NATO and the top 5 or 6 government officials are Zionazis.
Feels like European countries in general have gone crazy with few exceptions. Ukrainian politician Medvedchuk called this process the Ukrainianization of Europe. Fanatic and insane level of russophobia which is tiresome, annoying, stupid and self-harming.
It serves to unite the otherwise incredibly divided populations, and to give them a false form of nationalism. The Nazi party also created a fake nationalism based, not on German culture and history, but on hatred and a weird frankenstein monster of scandinavian and Hindu mythology. Ukrainians also think theyre an ancient culture and the true carriers of white culture. Haplogroups and archaeology be damned.

Those who don't beleive that Ukraine has the problem with ultra nationalism, never was in Ukraine. I was there in west Ukraine (Lvov) and saw and felt on my own. Ukraine is a tragic country, without hopes for bright future. Ukraine war has shown also how corrupt and duplicitous the EU is. If today would be referendum for go out of EU in my country, I would vote yes. Europe fought against nazism, and todays EU leadeship support the most undemocratic country in Europe ruled by an extremist regime constantly begging for money and weapons and instead of uniting people of different nationalities, they spoil them and spread hatred.

If you think that czechoslovakia in 1968 was different, you're wrong. People are like that for a reason. People in europe never fought wars for imaginary powers like russia or usa, but for their own freedom.
Ukraine didnt fight agasint Nazism , they joined them., the banderites having their own SS division. ThE Ukrainian police butchered 100000 jews, 30k in one massacre alone. The Russian liberals are the same. They aren't even ideological but just want a good life and call it freedom. I even heard some guy say he would have rather gone to Russia if he had the option, but ended up here. Overall, the most anti-russian sentiments don't even come from Ukrainians, but from brainwashed westerners who probably didn't even knew that Ukraine existed before 2022
The UA males in EU are of 2 types: 1) those who came there before war, some of them are pro-UA 2) those who came after war knowing full well their government expects them to stay and get drafted at some point, because border lock for 18-60 y.o. male happened on day 2 of war. I have previously lived in Russia (almost 20yrs ago now) and I was in Ukraine multiple times between 2018-2020. I was never there pre-Maidan. The "vibe" I got from Kiev was very negative and disturbing. Right Sector flags everywhere. I spoke Russian to everyone who didn't speak English and I was never harassed about it, including in the airport at passport control. I occasionally had people give me a look for speaking Russian or they would reply in Ukrainian. But everything felt "off" about the place and the news channels were like DPRK levels of stridency and "literally every problem we have is Russia's fault." How the hell could that be true in 2018? Kharkov got more and more "Ukrainianized" every time I went back. More people in military uniform. More recruiting for Azov right on Freedom Square. But I always spoke Russian in that city and everyone responded to me in Russian. But this insanity, this refusal to acknowledge basic realities that I *know* all Ukrainians can see right in front of their eyes ... what the hell is this? I was ready to accept that Ukrainians wanted their own national identity, fine, but why try to take away all rights of Russian speakers when *most* of the country speaks Russian as their native language? Now I am suspicious of anything I see resembling the Ukrainian flag. I will not trust anything a Ukrainian says anymore. This makes me sad, but it isn't Russia's fault. They spent 8 years doing this to themselves and nobody knows where it will all end. Finally, as an American taxpayer, I am furious that we have given over $100 billion of money that the citizens of the US have to pay out of their pockets, money which is stolen directly from our salaries, to fund this insanity! Enough is enough.
That's called "divide et impera" and it's even Ukrainians fault , it's the fault of western countries which all they think about is how to fuck up some other country . I mean just look at Balkans , we all speak more or less the same language especially Serbs , Bosnians and Croats , we can have a full blown conversations .. now if you look at Bosnians past they don't exist until west started meddling , Croatians didn't even have a single king until a Serb decided to create a country called Kingdom of Serbs , Croats and Slovenes . Problem being the fact that Croats were also created by the habsburgs , they were forced to starvation where they had to eat tree bark until they reached a point and just gave up and invented the new "Croat" ethnicity
Russians gave Ukraine their national identity in 1991, along with Crimea and Donbass. And they promised that nothing would change in relations, that the 2 countries would be friendly and cooperative, that Russians in Ukraine and the Russian language and culture would not be opressed. And no one could ever have imagined such a thing could happen, so they did not protest about being displaced from the motherland. We didnt even need special visas to travel across borders.
Put it simply, Ukrainians have been bought with western funds for years. And all anti-Russian ideology supported, for years. And what were they thinking, I survived war in Bosnia. A saw all that shit, post war damage is enormous. How could they let that thing happen to them.
The issue with the Russian language wasn’t really in it being banned in daily use but it being banned officially (public offices and services) and being removed from schools. Sure you could argue that it’s Ukraine and they should only have their own language, but when we’re talking about lands (Eastern Ukraine) that have belonged to Russians for as long as people lived there, then it becomes an issue. Because either they should be able to keep their identity or this land shouldn’t belong to this new country altogether.
Let's not forget that Zelensky was elected with the purpose of ending the war in Donbass. He also spoke Russian fluently and stated that Russia and Ukraine are one thing. @@ivydark9741 This is not exactly the Ukrainian language: no one in Ukraine knows the Ukrainian language - in each region, in each city, on each TV channel - there is its own "Ukrainian language" - and the majority of Russian-speaking people, who suddenly became "Ukrainians" and "patriots" - invent the "Ukrainian language" on the fly, distorting Russian words, making them more similar to Polish.

Yet Croatian and Serbian (as well as Bosnian), are essentially the same language on a dialect continuum, which is why these nationalities can have conversations in their own languages and perfectly understand each other. The Yugoslav wars were wars between kindred nations encouraged and fanned from outside and the war in Ukraine is a repeat with the same actors pulling the strings gs in the background. Notice that prior to the West’s involvement with the Maidan regime change operation, Ukrainians and Russians have been historically friendly with each other given their shared culture and history.
Exactly, I thought the same. Also the entire Croatian national identity was based on the hatred against Serbs and ethnical cleansing of Serbs from what should be Croatia.

Very few of the politicians are Neocons. The Neocons and other devoted Zionists are however deeply embedded in the US State Dept and among civilian employees in the Pentagon. Zionists also control the mainstream or "legacy" media and some of the major social media platforms (google/youtube, facebook, Wikipedia), and they provide the politicians with a very disproportionate amount of funding for their elections, and they have even corrupted the theology (more specifically, their ecclesiology) of a large part of US Protestantism. The same was in Croatia in 1990s. They banned everything that has the connection with Yugoslavia/Serbia and they brought back their Nazi emigration from WW2. Like in Ukraine the whole West supported them. So I heard here nothing new. The only difference is that Croats were allready Roman Catholic, so they didn't have to invent their new church.
Imagine how much worse the situation is here. We do not even differ in faith. moreover, the Kiev Metropolitanate and the entire high clergy moved to northeastern Russia in 1299, in 1324 - to Moscow. and continued to receive the titles of Metropolitans of Kiev and all Russia until 1448, before the autocephaly of the Church. This happened when the Patriarchate of Constantinople turned towards uniatism for the sake of the emperor who hoped for an alliance with Rome for the sake of military aid against the Ottomans. But it managed to ordain new metropolitans of Kiev Uniates, bringing division. Then, however, the Byzantine clergy came to their senses, but it did not help, in 1453 Constantinople was captured by the Turks. In Ukraine Catholics and Uniates fought against Orthodoxy. And the Cossacks of Zaporizhia, raising uprisings, first of all put forward a demand to Krakow (the capital of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, which ruled over them) to leave the faith and worship in peace. They forgot about that too.
@@_Shtosh_ This is such a tragedy. I have no words. I can not see the ethic/cultural/language difference between Russians and Ukrainians, they are the same to me. The differences are so minor that they are laughable. The only thing that separates is that Ukrainians worship the West. The whole conflict started in 2014. because of EU agreement about Stabilization and Association Process, which is a meaningless worthless paper, we have that in Serbia for more than 10 years, it did not bring us any benefit, because negotiations with the EU can last for decades, and they can block them whenever they want. In the end I can only say that I thought that we in Yugoslavia were the dumbest nation with our civil war, but now I have changed my mind, Ukrainians have surpassed us in their stupidity tenfold.
As a Croat I would like to mention the west did not want us in the beginning, as they banned us from the arms market, so we basically had to raid armories or illegally source weapons. Only later when we were actually winning did they give us a window of opportunity to attack which led to our victory. Probably because they saw our government wanted to be more "western". What I hate is when the war began our politicians were ready to fly away, but when the Serbs got jammed in Slavonia they decided to remain. They were not like Tito or some other heroes, they would have ran if it was not safe. Also in regards to the banning thing, I am not aware of any banned symbols in Croatia, only fascist ones. You are still allowed to have communist symbols. When it comes to emigration, this is incorrect as let me tell you, more are leaving then they are arriving, we have more bosnian croats than we do actual croats. Our current government has a stupid party that is trying to push people who previously immigrated out back here, but that is more for show and will not lead to any results.
Funny as watching this made me think about Croatia. I was six years old when we moved from there in 1989, so still Jugoslavia. About 14 years ago I worked with a Ukrainian guy who said back then that Ukraine was an artificial country. He was born when there was not a cloud in the sky for the Soviet Union. Back then I thought his claim was blunt, but today I think I understand what he meant. Keep up informing people about your situation. It's important that these things are shown to the world. Regular people telling their story.
This guy is the most organic person talking about this. The channel starts with NV videos from 5 years ago, which is what i would expect from just a regular russian dude :))
Anytime I asked someone from Ukraine if they spoke Russian or not, every single time, they looked away from me - never directly asking that question. Like they were ashamed. Truly bizarre.
I work with the general public and there are plenty of Ukrainian refugees here. I can have a better guess of their first language because I need to look at their mobile phones, the menu and the apps are always in Russian or English. I probably have talked to over a hundreds ukrainians among customers and job colleagues, in different countries, and so far I met a grand total of ONE OR TWO that have Ukrainian as the first language. The most ardent ultranationalists lie about it or claim they "changed", as if it was possible. Many Ukrainian speakers switch to Russian if they are angry, stressed or in a rush. By the way, so far all of them are just happy to find someone who speaks Russian and treat me extremely well. I have absolutely nothing against them as human beings, even if brainwashed.
@@fresagrus4490 Yeah reminds me of a forum which I used to frequent, there were a lot of Russians but some Ukrainians there as well, including one from Kiev, who would always insist on writing and replying on any Russian threads he was on in Ukrainian, despite the fact that everyone else was writing in Russian. And even though Russians can understand the gist of Ukrainian, you don't understand all of it so you still have to use Google Translate on this asshole everytime. And this was back in 2016 or whenever, long before auto-translate options in browsers and so on. Anyway, one day the dude broke up with his gf and then made a huge ass teary post - and entirely in Russian. As he explained, it's his native language and it's more natural for him to express his emotions through it. Major douche.
Russians and Ukrainians are different political orientations, not ethnic groups. Ukrainians had the right to be separate at one time (this is literally their essence), but no one can give them the right to kill the people of Donbass. Even if there are fossils in Donbass that are so dear to Mr. Lindsey Graham.
@camencowogh8333 Have you ever been to Ukraine? For retired soldiers, it looks like a great place to build a big house and live away from big political centers and their big problems, which is the essence of the worldview of all Ukrainians. This has been the case for a very long time, and applied to the entire countryside, including the Orthodox part of the region. On the other hand, cities were built by empires (mostly Russian), and the division by religion never disappeared. So a Ukrainian is primarily a rural resident who would very much like to be left alone, but Ukrainians of another religion have always been on his head, who later inherited a religious division, but without religion itself. Since the population of the former Ukrainian Orthodox parts of the region turned out to be on the losing side in the Cold War, their other Ukrainian opponents decided to be on the winning side and rob them "a little". BTW, from 1991 to 2001, 10 million people were expelled from the new state of Ukraine, and their property (including their parts of the former socialist state property - factories, mines) remained to those who expelled, but who cares today? When those who could be expelled and robbed without a big gang war ran out, problems began to grow. And then, in addition, American senators (for example, Mr. Graham) joined the division of Ukrainian property. Oh, I'm sorry, they joined the rescue of Ukrainian property from Russia and pro-Russian Ukrainians. Obviously, pro-Russian Ukrainians are not democratic enough to have important property or influence a democratic state.
@@bgdabg6769 Don't get me started on Balkan, the way Croatians are trying to distance them selves from Serbian, as they both speak the same language, is just as stupid as was described in the video on how Ukraine is trying to change their language from Russian. Kievan Rus is not and has never been Moscovy. The reason why Russians have an ethnic majority in southeast Ukraine is from years of purposeful immigration to push out the local Ukrainians.
I would say there are three parts of Ukrainians. Eastern who are Russians. Central - most of Ukrainian citizens - who are Russians as well but forgot about it. And western, who are not Russians and never were. Of course that last part couldn't have any power without the external influence.

Thank you for so much information. As an American, I have followed this war closely since the beginning. I have friends in my church from Ukraine and from Russia, so I had an increased concern. I soon realized it was impossible to learn the truth from Western media. They all repeated the same distortions. There was no truth about Nazis and the attempts to change the entire history and culture. I learned so much about the history of Russia and Ukraine. Sadly, the most powerful people in American foreign policy are descendants of Jewish exiles from Ukraine a century ago and they truly hate Russia. They are also poltical descendants of Leon Trotsky, so they have that reason, too. There were Americans like them that went crazy, as well. They put Ukrainian flags on their houses and stickers that said, “I stand with Ukraine.” People like me who just wanted peace and didn’t hate Russians or Ukrainians were seen as anti-American. 🤣I soon found alternative news sources that gave more reliable information. I currently live in Germany and Ukrainians now make up the single biggest group of migrants in my city. Ironically, almost all of them speak russian as first language.
What's even more interesting how almost none of them even show any hate towards Russia. Typically it was only some women/girls who were somehow mad at Russia.
Most of them used bribes to get out or got out crossing border in wilderness, because only small fraction has legal reasons to leave (e.g. being disabled or having a disabled close relative who they have to accompany out). So naturally they will be either neutral or against the state that tried to lock them in UA.
It's funny how Eastern powers like Russia and China ( well, I maybe wrong so I have nothing against if someone corrects me ) never tried to support separatists in Great Britain, France, Germany, Spain or Italy. And I mean direct support like Chinese arming Basques or Catalonians.

Wise words.
The shit West was able to invent about Ukraine topic is something never seen before in the human history. Totally absurdity. Stay safe bro, greetings from Italy❤

Sounds like Croatia in the 90s. Language changed forcefully to make it more different from Serbian.

Even Ukrainian actress from Ukraine like Milla jovovich, Mila Kunis and Olga Kurilenko all 3 of them cant speak Ukrainian because none of their relatives speak Ukrainian. And Mila Kunis is from West Ukraine. And very few of Kiev Maidan government are really native Ukrainian speakers. And I can tell you a lot of Ukranian today who switched to Ukrainian language speak it poorly. This is madness. Even during Vietnam war there were Soviet backed North VN and US backed South VN, but they both considered themself Vietnamese. Trying to deny your trueself historical and cultural identity is a form of mental illness. That is why all or nearly all of the politicians pander to them. It is not that the politicians actually have any heartfelt commitment to Israel. A few do, but the great majority of them do not.
In fact, they did, there is some croatian orthodox church buahahahaha

They all speak Russian. For most of them it's their mother tongue.
Russia isnt your enemy, zelenski is. Also NATO.
You know what Mr Lindsey Graham can do with his fossils, don't you?
Graham is ignorant in numerous respects - full of himself
Wow, exactly same thing is happening in Taiwan

I'm from the US and i really appreciate you posting your perspective. It's very illuminating. Here in the US we are the vassals of an empire. That empire is called the DOW, and they've made only money matter. I'm sorry for the pain of russians and ukranians for what that empire has visited on us, remember we are just people here too.
We all know that brother (at least majority). Ordinary US people are great people and we all know that all what you want is just good and best for yourself, for your relatives and your close once as any other human being. No one in their good mind have anything bad towards American people. We, simple people, just numbers on papers in senators, president's or any other officials hands. They star thinking about us, ordinary people, only durring election period which they will rigg anyway. So yeah don't think that we have any negativity towards regular Americans or any others. We all the same just play figures in the hands of officials. All the best to you and your close once.
When the United States did something bad in the world, my mother said that they have such a policy and in this way they achieve the prosperity of their own country by suppressing others. Therefore, I don’t even have any complaints about your country, not to mention the citizens. This does not apply to your politicians; individuals deserve condemnation

Yep, according to Brussels and Washington D.C. Ukraine is a 'beacon of democracy' lol
Over the last year I have become friends with and talked with lady who used to lived in Mariupol. D/t the Siege of Mariupol she was unable to stay and had to flee Mariupol. She talks about regretting that decision and trying to stay although she may have lost her life by staying. She pretty much says the same things you say, Ukrainian propaganda is everywhere and so many people believe it and are crazy. She hates Azov and the UAF for what the did in Mariupol. All in all her points are completely in line with what you say.
She is currently 15 km from the front line so if anyone is a praying type, please pray for her. Her and her friends a waiting for the Russian Army to save them. She says all over the cities the UAF puts the MLRS, artillery pieces, etc in between houses and apartments to make them more difficult to be hit by the Russian Army
Same here, have friends from Poltava that are waiting for the Russian army to liberate them. She is hiding her brother for over a year now from the Ukrainian military since they want to conscript him
Ukainian and Russian are the same people for the long time
Not anymore. Ukraine is doomed.

I’ve watched scenes from Mariupol since the early stages of the SMO. I clearly remember the people who stayed behind, living in basements right in the middle of the bombing. There was one lady who had buried her child in the front garden and another who had stayed with her husband in a basement because he couldn’t move because he was very ill. I hope things are so much better for them, that they survived the Azov killings and have lovely renovated homes. Thank you from Scotland for your videos.

Exactly like in Croatia! NAPO effect.
I saw video evidence of what the Azov Brigade did and of how they used abused and even killed civilians. I am grateful to God that you are now safe and that Russia is rebuilding Mariupol. You surely have a bright future, now.
