You should make efforts to have your own Nigerian international passport now.

If you are above 18 years, I should not be the one to tell you the importance of having an international passport.
A friend of mine told me how a brilliant, skilled employee missed an international training opportunity because he had no international passport at the time of the trip.
Nigerian Immigration Service seems deliberate about making this service easy and readily accessible for Nigerians at the moment, take advantage of the system now and do it now, before you become desperate to have it, which often happens as a result of you having an opportunity that needs a passport to validate such opportunities.
