HackAttack love your content been watching all your vids for years now. In your opinion which skating style sliders have the most affect on skating speed? what other sliders benefit in other ways? I wonder often about stick height while skating without the puck, and how that could affect a intercepting a pass or picking up a loose puck
I don't know which sliders affect what. I've seen this skating style used by others and it's made an impact. I'm not sure if any effects defense in any way, just speed.
I missed the entirety of 24 because I thought they permanently got rid of hybrid but it’s been back for a while now. I just got 25, I gotta get used to the new movement
@canes176 Yeah I'd say it's better than 24 but not by much. The speed nerf and vision control changes are the major difference. Reactive actions are sometimes a hit or miss.
Yah feathering L2 for boost is really strong for breakaways. Also if u LT oneway then deke the other it’s really strong right now especially the in between the legs deke you get so much space between you and defender. And LT protect puck turn is busted in corners to get to slot works 9 times out of 10. Also back hand seems to be the best way to finish this year.
@mfdcrowemortified5200 I'm still figuring it out but yeah its been crazy sometimes. I wonder too if it's just because our builds can hit 95-96 agility now. Or if its from some broken mechanic with the vision control that will eventually get patched.
Isnt stuff like is why players are complaining about how bad online is right now. Its a hockey game and your need is to exploit it. At least you are doing your part to help feed and promote that negarivity.
@brianbradley5273 It allows you to get the edge and even the playing field against others that exploit it too. Many players complain about how they aren't getting certain animations and how they feel too slow compared to other teams and it's stuff like this that, if it's in the game, then it's fair game to exploit to give yourself a chance. It's not like we programmed it in the game.
@@HackAttack34 sounds a bit toxic to me. I'm so glad I gave up on online play years ago for NHL. There isn't really edge when all use a small skater/speed build and hockey isn't actually being played.
@brianbradley5273 It's a video game man. It's how competitive guys play. Other games are played like this too. Exploits and meta builds and styles in order to win. Not much else to say
@@HackAttack34 I get that it is, each to their own and I don't care as I'm offline only. It's just how I see players in the community say how bad the game plays cause of how the online experience is whereas it's not the game but more or less the mentality of the online player base. Last year it was truculence, how many times did EA nerf and un-nerf cause of it.
@brianbradley5273 That's not the fault of the players tho. We don't program the game. It's up to ea to fix and change the game how they want. They don't do enough playtesting so the players do it for them and find all the exploits and glitches and then ea works on it.
@hookR2 The effect happens more in game with pick up animations and certain turns with the puck. Hard to test anything in free skate cause you don't lose stamina.
It is noticeable, anyone who disagrees is wrong. We play against top guys and they all do it. May I beg you for a video on movement with the puck? I've been noticing a lot of little things that make it so they're almost impossible to hit/stick check. I play at a high level and I'm still struggling with it
I need to learn more about the mechanic and how to finesse it right. As far as defending it, mainly just staying to the inside and picking the right moment to poke or hit. Sometimes just staying inside and letting them skate into you can work too.
W ima start using this❤

What shooting style do you use
I'm using shooting style 2 this year
gave this a try, the animation totally fucked with my breakaway dekes, went back to normal and played better again.
@@tpp27 Whatever works for you
In nhl 24 I needed to hold L3 and aim forward to accerlate. In this nhl it does nothing, so how I accerlate in this nhl like I did in nhl 24?
@Kingggmann The game is slower that's all. Same controls

How do I sprint in game
@FighterChamp. Holding in the left side while skating.
I like Placebo

@dylanallard5920 It's the same in game. Only difference is the endurance doesn't go down in free skate.

Basically a video that addresses how to move with the puck in such a glitchy way, and also how to answer it as a D
