I've been singing the praises on these wheels since I stepped on them 2 months ago. Hands down the best street wheels I've had the chance to try. Cloudwheel 120s are EASILY outperformed by these, and that weight savings vs TB 110s is such a nice advantage.
My rear wheels are 105mm regular cloud wheels sleeves on the longboard and 90 put sleeves on the short board. I wish they came hub compatible.
These urethane wheels may just be the smoothest urethane wheels ever and grippy!
thanks man, informative as always
I have 2 dual hub motor e- skateboards. Is it possible to put just two wheels on the front of each board?
you could give it a shot
Great video man, ill order them asap.
Can I use them with the stock Meepo Hurricane pulleys?
In the future will there be other colors of the urethane and core?
they are working on a new version right now, but same colors
Compared to Wind Wheels that you reviewed, which has more comfort (over bumps, rough roads, etc.) and which you like better? Thanks.
It is a really touch choice. These have far better grip and less rolling resistance, but I think that the wind wheels are smoother
I have these with the Verreal branding and they hummmmmmm kinda loud. Not in a bad way.
These hum too, especially at lower speeds
Do you recommend these wheels or cloudwheels(etc),? Im in college and I feel that the wheels that come with the backfire zealot isn't doing enough and I think I have to change my wheels (worn out) (kinda a newb when it comes to eboards/boards tho so idk) Great vid btw!
I would go with these personally. The clouds are nice but not super grippy and they chew through your battery
@@DIYesk8Builders Thanks for the response! Do they come with bearings too or is it just the wheels and pulleys?
No bearings. Just wheel pulleys
@@DIYesk8Builders any bearings you recommend?
MAD wheelz are the direct competitor to the Cloudwheels. Just about the same level of comfort but way better grip in the turns. I am launching the wheels on Aug 6th for $99. The promotional price will last for a week.
Wich one is smoother, 105 mad wheels or 110 rubber wheels from onsra?
To be honest, the Onsra 115mm are more comfortable. The issue with the Onsra rubber wheels is the insane resistance and overall weight. As a result, Onsra 115mm get about the same range as pneumatics. Another thing to keep in mind about the Onsra wheels is you need to use matching Onsra pulleys because the holes are a little smaller. The MAD wheelz are a better blend of grip, comfort and range.
@@fujio001 thank you mate for your response.
@4:57 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Awesome & Thanks :)
What headlight do you have on the front of your board?
These: ua-cam.com/video/P3Le_Cgz0PE/v-deo.html
They are awesome!
Does 40T kegal pulleys fit to these wheels?
yes
is there a carbon fiber deck you recommend for diy
I have never used a carbon fiber deck for a DIY so not really. I have worked with the Eovan deck and it is solid, but it is very expensive
What nikes are those they look comfortable
Nike AF1 Flyknit
⚡ *These are the better option for those considerin CaliRides 105s or Boosted 105s* ⚡
Interestingly enough, these and the Boosted 105s measure at 102mm yet the CaliRides measure at 105mm. Width is 65mm but actual contact patch is around 43mm. Keeps it nimble for big wheels.
The humming is created by the holes in the wheel. A wheel with holes in it, surrounded by decently soft material creates sound when rollin slower but less so at higher speeds.
CaliRides are the ones to skip though, overpriced and slightly different design 👀
Thanks for all of the info!
The CaliRides were an update to the boosted "105". They addressed the vibrations by making the wheel thicker, true105mm, and they've a wider contact patch.
Very interesting! It would be cool to do a side by side comparison of the two
@@DIYesk8Builders and they charge a lot more for that extra thane 😂 Verrreal Mad are the better option
@@mrgee918 Check out the video from Fred at ESK8unity. I thought the CaliRides were wider but when they are compared side to side, the contact patch of the CaliRides is slightly smaller.
i'm famous! i'm in your video ayeee
0:51 *102mm
True!
nice work! boosted/caliRide/mad wheels are my favorite “big wheels” 👌🏼💯
Thanks! What makes them your favorite?
@@DIYesk8Builders the compound its made of. very different from any other big street wheel. its also not too big, not too small
