no rome is a Filipino artist and producer, and because of his work, I got very inspired and very interested to learn about music production back in 2016.
These Christian rewrite #Jesusfied song series is a project where I take popular secular songs, and rededicate them to God. Some are a bit challenging, like this one, but it's always very exciting to figure out how I can rewrite the songs to reflect a real and authentic relationships and conversation with God.
This one takes the perspective of God talking to you in hindsight about your juvenile escapades, and how even though He does not approve of them, He was always with you, waiting patiently for you to return to Him.

It's been 2yrs since Jesus took my desire for secular music. I loved this song soo much. It holds many of my precious memories. For couple of months I had an intense desire to revisit this song but Lord is sooooo faithful to His promises. Couple of weeks ago a name popped into my head- Darla Baltazar. I heard her music and instantly fell in love. Then out of nowhere, I saw this version in her playlist. I was astonished at Jesus's love for me T_T. I really hoped at that time this music was not in a playlist but published as a single piece. Here I am today, witnessing my really irrelevant desire being miraculously answered. Thankyou Lord Jesus, you are worthy of all of our praises. Thankyou Darla for letting Lord work through you!!!
