The accumulators I have in the back make it sound funny and lift different than normal. I had just checked my fluid that day before riding out, but you're right it does sound like it, good ear bro
I know your going to show the chain bridge. That makes it real easy for a car to 3 wheel only need 3 pumps 4 batts! I've never seen it done with 2 pumps but I heard it can be done.
Got a question. How do you deal with oil control in the engine when you have hydraulics? Do you guys use special oil pans with kick out and baffles and things to keep the oil from uncovering the oil pump pickup in the bottom of the oil pan? Seems like you'd at least need baffle(s) or trap door(s) around the pickup itself at the minimum. Or do yall just use stock pans and not even worry about it? Thanks.

guadalahustler I assume you're asking about standing 3, I have seen a couple guys that are running more batteries with the center rear link changed out to an adjustable link that allows for easier swivel to lay over. Shouldn't need a chain bridge. I'd start with the adjustable center link and see how easy 3 wheeling is after that and if it still doesn't stand, you'll need more weight. Hard to say with seeing the setup.
guadalahustler 1998 Merc is like a Lincoln.. you will need a min of 14 inch strokes a chain bridge and custom 4 link to stand 3.. with adjustable uppers and lowers you might get a baby 3inch 3wheel. also you will need to remove watts link

Yo I got a question I got a 1984 Delta 88 two-door coupe 3 pump setup six batteries I'm trying to figure out how much extra weight do I add in each corner so I can pop three wheel without having to drive so much
Need to know a few more details. 1. What size cylinders in the rear? 2. Is the rear bridged? 3. What size springs? 3. How are the 6 batteries positioned? (Across the back or 3 on each side?). 4. Is the rear chained, and if so is it an X or straight up and down, or both angled inward? Under the right circumstances 6 batters and 3 pumps, 2 pumps to the rear and the rear end chained right you can stand it. It is easier once you jump into 8 batteries. Size of cylinder matters too. 14s and up is preferred. Chain the rear just at the max before bind.
@@LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS I have 14 in cylinders in the back yes it is bridged and reinforced I do not have chains because I heard chains aren't really necessary that's just what somebody told me.. my six batteries I have three on each side of the trunk

I had an 85 Regal with 4 pumps. Have you friend try lifting JUST opposite (diagonal) corners. It worked for me and I was able to do standing (POWER) 3wheel. Great tip though.
Yeah I had a 87 regal with 4 hijackers and all chrome undercarriage in high school.Its been 20 years but I was thinkn the same thing when he hit 3 I did mine different.I would pancake my whole car,and then just raise one rear cylinder I had a bridge but didn't need any chains.I did have 10 batteries though. Dude said he had 4 batteries and I started wondering shit it's been 20 years does the new pumps and motors take alot less power to run.I always got love for the low-lows its where it all started for me,man I had so many lowrider centerfolds, and a few Orlies, on my wall like it was wallpaper (Thanks for the only habit in the world that cost more than drugs,and keep you broke like your on em).Man went from $1500 Gold 100 spokes 13x7s and now it's and now it's $6000 3 piece brushed 26s.5Gs a piece on Paint and Guts,and u can't put a cap on what you can spend on motor/tranny/rear-end.Hell you can jet engine drive it for a whole summer that winter be in the garage trying to figure out how to put a turbo,or procharge it cause once u got the hang of it it just do feel that fast anymore.

He's only running 6 batteries, just not enough weight back there to make it stand. Adding two more batteries for more power, should help but still don't think it will stand. Has stock 4 link, no pivot. I've seen guys add lead weight to bumper to force it up which is the next option, possibly a chain bridge.

It really just depends on how high ur lock up is in tha back but he is right about long cars and all that but u do need more than 2 pumps to 3 wheel btw

You have to hold down the switch no matter what to let all the fluid out of that one back corner cylinder on a 2 pump yes. If you have 2 pumps going to the rear and can just lift one corner, no you don't have to dump the other corner.
I had 8 group 31 Batteries in my 79 Delta 88 with 4 pumps 16 inch rear cylinders it did a standing 3 wheel by locking up the front and raising ether the right rear or left rear cylinder got to love 3 to 4 pumps :-) now I have a 93 Fleetwood Hearse getting back into lowriding I have the 1" port Black Magic Hydraulic pumps to the front #11 Marz gears in them hopefully my car will 3 wheel although its over a 22 foot car. I'm thinking 12 batteries should be enough weight.

JC I’ve never worried about this issue. 3 wheeling only lasts for under 10 seconds normally unless you are standing but even then it’s not an issue.

@@judithjorge2658 hold your dump down while u make a turn and stay holding it until u finish or u can lift one cylinder on the back around a turn

I’ve installed many 2 pump setups that will stand on 3. Although it helps to have a 3rd pump, it’s not always required. Weight distribution is key.
