Please Be Patient Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen. -James 5:7 James is an extremely practical book. It takes the great truths of the Christian faith and then attaches a “so what?” afterward. We discover what these truths mean to us and how they affect our lives. And in chapter 5, James shares important principles regarding what we should be doing as believers who are waiting for the Lord’s return. He writes, “Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen. You, too, must be patient. Take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near” (verses 7-8) James tells us that the farmers wait for the early and latter rains. They also look eagerly, or expectantly, for the harvest to ripen. Farmers today use sophisticated technology. Not only do they have advanced irrigation systems, but they can take satellite photos of their property so they know which parts of their fields need more water and which parts have enough or maybe too much. They can harness this technology to harvest their crops. However, ancient farmers didn’t have modern irrigation systems. They depended completely on the rain to sustain their crops. They had to wait for the rain, and the early rains in Israel usually arrived in late October or early November. They softened the hard, baked soil for plowing. Then the latter rains came in late April and May. These were essential for the crops to mature. But if a farmer grew impatient and tried to harvest the seed before it was ready, he could uproot the entire process. He had to wait. No crop appears overnight, except a crop of weeds, of course. Isn’t it amazing how quickly weeds can grow? We will carefully nurture a little plant that we’re growing, and it might gain an inch or two over time. Meanwhile, the weeds have grown three feet high. They need no help whatsoever. If we want a good spiritual harvest in our lives, it takes time. We must be patient. And if we’re waiting for the return of Christ, we must be patient as well. Yet that is difficult to do in our on-demand culture of today. We don’t have to wait and save money to purchase something we want. We want it now. We feel that we deserve it, so we just charge it. But as we wait for the Lord’s return, we need to remember that God is not bound by our schedules. He has His own. The Bible tells us, “But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children” (Galatians 4:4-5) Jesus will come at the appointed time. And just as He came the first time at the appointed hour, He will come the second time in the same way

Trivializing Legendary Pokémon, which are supposed to be the rarest and most powerful creatures in the world, as literally random background pets IS a negative example of world building, it blows my mind to see someone saying otherwise unless you don't care at all about the status of a Legend (which would be contradictory for anyone who seeks a good presentation of a 'plausible' realm-bulding for Pokémon). If you're looking for decent worldbuilding in that vein, look at Tobias right there. Simply throwing a component of this caliber statically in the background of a random scene and calling it a day while there's a much better example in the same arc for comparison strikes me as the exact opposite of how it should've been done. In any case, this was most likely just a slip by the staff's background designers (which makes more sense for Heatran as gender-difference Pokémon was controversial at that time). Heatran is technically just an extremely rare Pokemon that very few people have seen, but there are confirmed to be multiple Heatran and they can be also be gendered. Yeah that random guy having a heatran is 10/10 like that's realistic. It's not some fancy pants villain or MC it's just some random plain looking guy XD. Probably one of the best Pokemon characters.
I would still count Noland’s Articuno, he may not have actually caught it,but it was his. Think of it like a stray cat or dog that just becomes your pet
Yeah had the same thought. "Caught" or not, it still followed his lead in battle and more importantly battled for him in a trainer battle. To me, it's the same you just can't call it back into a convenient to transport ball lol And I mean really if you're gonna get technical, Ash never caught Pikachu either, and it also never spends any time in it's Pokeball. You could argue that functionally it broke free of its Pokeball post capture around when Ash meets and essentially abducts it. So really, Pikachu is kinda a wild Pokemon in that respect. Meowth is sort of similar, except it doesn't have a Pokeball and is never caught (AFAIK). So he would also be a wild Pokemon really. Pretty sure they show the breaking out of a ball multiple times in the anime, and they definitely implies that under the right conditions they can be forced out of a Pokeball. eg Snorlax's Pokeball becoming damaged in the Orange Islands. I think there is even at least one instance of a Pokemon straight up destroying a ball to get free on its own accord.
Suicune just casually catches itself by nose bumping a pokeball, none the less a regular pokeball, that was some serious rng to get him in a regular ball.
The anime doesn't follow game mechanics... If a Pokemon wants to be caught, it doesn't struggle to break out of the Pokemon. We see this all the time in the anime
It wasn't ever confirmed. Ash never caught Solgaleo. It just appeared in a flashback of Ash's past Pokémon. However, Larvitar and the pink Butterfree also appeared in a flashback with some of Ash's other Pokémon and they only traveled with him. Ash traveled with Solgaleo but he never captured it and TPC never announced that he caught it offscreen.
@@chorizocosmico7081 Actually Mythical Pokémon do count as Legendary Pokémon because a Mythical is essentially just a much rarer Legendary that can only be obtained from in game events. Arceus is the god of the Pokémon world and is definitely a Legendary but he is classified as a Mythical because he can only be obtained from special events. Mythical Pokémon were called Legendary until, I believe during generation 4, they were given a separate category that was created for very rare Legendary Pokémon. Mythical is essentially just a specific type of Legendary Pokémon. You are right about Ultra Beasts though because they are classified as alien creatures from another dimension and not Legendary Pokémon.
@@AuraKumo104 there are many other categories of rare pokemons besides mythical and legendary, I was confused when saying that Melmetal is a mythical pokemon since it really is a singular pokemon, it is different from the mythical ones since there are more singular than mythical or legendary ones, like Zeraora being a singular pokemon since it has never been classified as legendary but it is also wrong to call it mythical

Guy with heatran had enough being a backround character💀💀💀
"... also owns a pair of Regis"
> shows he owns 3.
It’s Random Guy’s fault I didn’t believe Heatran was a legendary, I saw the episode and and it stuck out to me because of its design, and then I just couldn’t believe that a background character had a legendary and nobody acknowledged it, even with Heatran’s wiki page staring me in right the face clearly stating it was a legendary
I was the same TvT random guy really had me fooled by
Heatran is technically just an extremely rare Pokemon that very few people have seen, but there are confirmed to be multiple Heatran and they can be also be gendered. It’s categorized as a legendary because there can only be one Heatran in a volcano, and there aren’t many volcanoes in the Pokemon world
@@supasneak At this point all legendaries save for literal gods are just extremely rare Pokémon, I have lost count of how many legendary birds have appeared across Pokémon media
@@Momo-qu5thNot even Dialga, Palkia and Giratina are unique since the sequence with Arceus in HGSS is literally just another one being created. So I feel like the only one we can be sure is canonically unique is Arceus itself.
@@jinougawithchocolate9329 yes and no. Arceus itself says we only encounter a fragment of its form and power. So I’d say it’s not impossible to believe there is one arceus that has allowed itself to be encountered by different people in different times and spaces as fragments
Not knowing the rest of Tobias' team haunts me to this day
The fact he always started his battles with Darkrai. No trainer will risk losing their Ace at the start of a championship level battle unless they had another horror awaiting.
Headcanons:
A. Caterpie, Weedle, Pidgey, Spearow. He only needed his Darkrai and threw in his Latios as a failsafe. The league required 6 Pokémon, so he pulled some filler from his PC.
B. 4 Arceuses. Don’t care how impossible it is.
I'm still salty about Tobias
3 of his pokemon are random and the last one is arceus or giratina

Please Be Patient
Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen.
-James 5:7
James is an extremely practical book.
Take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near”
(verses 7-8)
James tells us that the farmers wait for the early and latter rains.
God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children”
(Galatians 4:4-5)
Jesus will come at the appointed time. And just as He came the first time at the appointed hour, He will come the second time in the same way

I love that Heatran guy
I would still count Noland’s Articuno, he may not have actually caught it,but it was his. Think of it like a stray cat or dog that just becomes your pet
Yeah had the same thought. "Caught" or not, it still followed his lead in battle and more importantly battled for him in a trainer battle. To me, it's the same you just can't call it back into a convenient to transport ball lol
And I mean really if you're gonna get technical, Ash never caught Pikachu either, and it also never spends any time in it's Pokeball.

It was confirmed Ash owns Solgaleo.
As well as special mentions: Naganadel Ultra Beast & Melmetal Mythical
It wasn't ever confirmed. Ash never caught Solgaleo. It just appeared in a flashback of Ash's past Pokémon. However, Larvitar and the pink Butterfree also appeared in a flashback with some of Ash's other Pokémon and they only traveled with him. Ash traveled with Solgaleo but he never captured it and TPC never announced that he caught it offscreen.
Naganadel it's a Ultra beast, it's not the same as a legendary, the same goes for Melmetal being a Singular
