I am wondering how Akthar Ali is able to speak openly for so long and nothing happened to him? The young doctor was killed for that same reason because she threatened to expose the racket the principal and college were doing. Either Mr Ali has got a lot of protection or they don't want to harm for some reason?

He relocated his family to an unnamed city and he works at Murshidabad Medical Hospital. Sometimes when people know too much, they create something called a deadman’s switch. If anything were to happen to him, the switch would be activated and incriminating evidence would be released publicly. He seems like an intelligent and observant man. He probably got his safety measures figured out.

One doubt, when Mr. Akhtar Ali filed complaint openly against management and Sandeep Ghosh, he was just transferred. But why this girl was targeted to rape and murder? This is also questionable! Just because she was female and that too hindu. Was it thought to be easy to manage everything afterwards. Real heros are all doctors who opposed this and this crime came to light. Otherwise her death would have been unnoticed.

She should ensure the culprits brought to the book anf shouldn't shield anyone. Unfortunately Mr. Kapil sibal and other lawyers arguing the case as if the state government has nothing to do with it. Honourable Supreme Court Judges have taken it Suo moto and rightly pointed out the discrepancies. The victim's family should get justice.

This and so many other cases show the level of corruption happening within India. Despite all the red flags and previous complaints the law and order situation never improves, until someone tragically becomes a victim and the case goes public. Even then those involved continue to use their power to tamper with the evidence at the crime scene and the case becomes cold again. Whether it is the Sushant Singh case, the Pune Porsche case or even this one. Until there is no separation of powers, there will be no improvement in the system.
Does India not have medical regulatory bodies where people can file for malpractice cases? In developed western countries medical associations are independent bodies that regulate the medical profession and ensure practitioners are following the code of ethics. If a malpractice case is lodged against a doctor then they are thoroughly investigated and can risk losing their license for even the slightest bit of negligence. Better checks and balances could help catch these sort of criminals early.
Give all india statistics. No of rapes/gang rape, convicted cases, hanged, life imprisonment, not detected. Give details of other rape cases in other state, along side with that of Kolkatta
