Mom worked with Eddie from 14 for a few years. I was a young teen that was into building rockets, The catcher in the rye, and all about integrity. I didn't like anything on MTV but GNR, Ozzy, Alice in Chain, soundgarden and nirvana. Hated anything that looked/ sounded phony, vapid, or contrived. Motley Crue, Poison? Looking at you. I wasn't going to like them just because Eddie is mom's friend. What an asshole i was! Hahaha His girlfriend at the time grew up down the street. He was visiting her parents. He went to the park and was playing basketball with kids. Didn't say anything. "So my girlfriend lives over there. And my friend Cindy lives on the street. I don't know which house. Does anyone know her kids, Justin and Garrett?" My best friend Josh (who did recognize him but instantly liked him so he didn't make a big deal of it) is like, sure, I'll peg you there on my bike. Eddie insisted on doing the work. That's when I was like "Holy cow. This is one Real motherfucker, right here." I immediately fell in love with the dude. And actually paid attention to how fuckin beautiful Ten is. Vs. came out a couple of weeks later. My buddy hasn't let me down, since. This is one of my fav songs and you crushed it! This was super fun to see. I had to run out every Homer ive ever hit because im small but you hit this one Out. Good Show!
