Sorry? Australian here, and you couldn't be more wrong. Back in the day pre 2014, sure, now it's just a fuckin mess of bands, like Northlane and MTS both bands are going through an identity crisis. I love when morons like yourself claim to know a thing about metal, and in this case, you don't even live in Australia, so how the fuck would you know. Not only that, your taste in music is abysmal if you are still reaching for the "Australia does it better" card. That was true, now any and all countries mostly have shit bands in them that have sold out their sound, or just disbanded all together. If you're talking passion, aussie bands have little, big ones anyway. You shouldn't be listening to shit like this and should search states for music, then look @ fliers / posts regarding bands in the local scene, find a recording on youtube, listen and realize that any country, within reason, is good with metal, so long as they are passionate and don't sell out with the EDM / AI, laziness mentality most bands and generations are now inherently sharing within circles / new age mentality forming from newer gens.
The harsh verse, stadium chorus shit from EVERY metalcore band has gotta go. The only reason I checked this out is I heard it was pure harshes. I'm slowly getting into heavier stuff like Nailbomb, Full of Hell and Mortician because this formulaic crap is wearing me out. Listening to core less and less other than Whitechapel.
good for variety. As brilliant as MTS are, the harsh/clean vocal dynamic can get predictable. Heavy bangers like this one shake it up. This will get the mosh pit pumping! @@Cstrawn05
One of my absolute favorite newer bands, and I swear, producer Jeff Dunne needs a massive shout out. Talk about a Godzilla-crushing-the-city level of huge production.
No idea who you are, and who gives a fuck. You're raising your head expecting people to care. No one knows you dude, and the band MTS is pretty much dead at this point. Hence their absence in releases and now new releases sounding like shit. I mean even Booka offered the band more music sound wise, and she was a disgusting human being. Im guessing you're toxic also hanging around them
This is probably the best of the new songs: heavy, techno-y, meaningful lyrics, and amazing interplay of harsh vocals between Sean and Alex. A masterpiece!
The mana god refers to being a god at tapping your mana cards. Source: I competed against Sean at the ANZ MTG Super Series in WA a couple of years ago.
I will always say this every time this band releases new music, Alex is the best addition they added to their band. This band is sooo next level with her, they do soo well together. Good shit as always MTS!
I love her screams. Booka was fine, but Alex adds an extra element with her harsh and clean vocals. Maybe she'll even get to sing lead vocals on a couple of songs in the future?
I totally agree with this. I was originally in love with Louisa, and had a hard time adjusting to Booka, but eventually came around. Alex is just on a completely different level. Although I always loved the addition of a female member, it always kinda felt like a gimmick. Alex doesn't feel like a gimmick. She holds her own against against any guy in this scene. I listened to Drown this City before she joined MTS. She's so sick. Definitely the best addition to this band.
This song was disgustingly heavy in the best way possible i really enjoyed it sean & alex's screams blended so well in this song & the instrumentation was outstanding looking forward to the self titled album make them suffer released 8th of november not long to wait well done make them suffer keep the tunes coming.🙂❤🤘🔥
This is my favorite song so far. He has always had heavy vocals and her screaming compliments it perfectly. I dont really care for her clean vocals so this song has got it going on. I'd love to see her do more unclean vocals. Good job guys. We saw you guys with Bad Omens in Columbus in 22. They are really good live too. And can someone comment on the guy playing the guitar with no shirt on? I love it. Most people have outfits, not this dude.
I found these guys when "erase me" came out and loved that album. But i gotta say the songs that are coming out now are making them rise more and more on my top bands list. Their recent singles just haven't missed man. Make them suffer just gets better and better with each release.
I respect your opinion and glad you like what you hear, but as a fan of the band since the beginning I have not been a fan of this new direction, How to Survive a Funeral was amazing but this just sounds so repetitive and digital, almost directionless
This is easily top5 band for me. I love their easier stuff too, but for a while I was afraid that they are going too much ligther songs... Thank you MTS for proving my fears wrong. This band is exactly the metalcore anyone could ask for, and more.
Over the past five years, there have really only been three newer “heavy” bands that have interested me, and this is one. Other two are Slaughter to Prevail and Lorna Shore.
I at one point was starting to miss their old sound but I've realised these days they just evolve and evolve after every album. I'm really loving how top tier they've become.
@@akitt2 Yes. I've never been able to like a band's that changed theirs sound, man. I loved MTS when they were still deathcore AF... I loved them when Louisa was still in the band. But somefuckknghow- I'm still listening. MTS is sick, mate. Legitimately one one of the best metalcore bands in the scene today. I'm American AF, but they've been one of my favorites for the last decade 🤘🏻
"METALCORE!"
We do fun metal things here!!
I agree
METALCORE
cringe
Shit, I thought it was really "Metalcore"
Words recognized: zero
Clean vocals: zero
Heaviness: yes
I recognized “METALCORE”. That was it though 😂
I think I heard “mana god” and a pretty solid “fuck” from Alex that’s about it and I’m perfectly okay with that
it was so good! then i heard "mana god" at the end and totally ruined the song. 😂
"Words recognized: zero" - Ok dad. :/

Again. Australia just flies the metal flag proudly. Well done guys
Can’t deny they are a league above

All the Norwegians and swiss migrated south..
Metal and almost-too-intense horror movies. The Aussies do what they do well.

Love how Alex is like Sean's hype man on this!
Would love to see the dynamic flipped one day, Alex going mental while Sean's there going "F*** yeah!"
I'd absolutely lose my shit! Please make this happen someday
Would be sick she can scream
I just fell to my knees in Woolworths screaming make them ripped
Your music sucks, plus you are going for the im metal look, when making EDM music.
You're out of touch.
Heavy as fuck, no cleans which surprised me but I’m not complaining
Much needed I think after recent releases having 3 clean choruses in each track. Feels more like old school mts im here for it
I’m not saying no to more deathcore MTS
No cleans ... as I prefer it. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

No accounting for taste...
We’re definitely not too old between 35 and 40
