The first step of the draft is that you need to pick the hero's that can play along with each other's skills, game 1 draft for ET had "Individually good hero's" but they did not have any "Synergy" with each other as such. Eg - chou roam + Aurora mid would have cleared the wave at the same speed as grock roam + Valentina mid, which would've given the good river contest to ABM. That did not happen because art wanted to control the bushes however bidd wasn't there to poke Apex as he has a "comparatively" slow wave clear than a Grock - Valentina. This is hero synergy which needed to be there for ET but it wasn't.
