Korean historical dramas always bring some rather mundane aspects of the times’ facts of life that I can’t get enough of
this is so good, this is the first I actually liked a drama special & wasn't just watching.
I love Korean drama actually am try to learn too who else want to learn ??
This is first ever drama which is 💯 relatable for me. ( I am a bookworm)
I just wish the actor playing the king never die and play as king in all dramas , he's so damn good.
Have u seen his other Sageuk? He was once a minister, sometimes the bad one.. But i like him more playing a king.. And the one who wrote the book but disown it, he plays many roles but never a king nor prime minister..

Choi Dae Chul AND books?! What a great, fun show! I really enjoyed pausing to look up the historical figures and read up on facts about the book.

The Koreans are intelligent people, though I do remember reading comics in my childhood (Philippines), it's not cartoon comics, the writers were full of ingenuity, such a pity, their ideas were not adopted to a film and teleseries. How creative the Filipino fantasist writers? The Medusa Greek mythology were expanded to Gorgonia race.

The Hyeon was still killed for treason. He is not that worth author I guess. Reader loves the books so much but the author didn't protect it.
I love the scene where they 3 stand together to protect and change history - woman, lowly citizen and caged royalty.
I'm not so satisfied with the ending. The minister seems free.
