- This is my dash camera footage of the first of 5 tornadoes on May 17 2019 near McCook, Nebraska.

However I was busy praying that I wouldn't see someone else drive right into the circulation of a beast like El Reno was.
@@michaelh.8280 Two things: Tim and his crew didn't drive into the El Reno storm. It changed direction, widened rapidly and accelerated. They were caught from behind. Also, this storm was not comparable in any way whatsoever to the El Reno storm.

Yes, I know that this tornado isn't comparable to the El Reno tornado.
However, as all tornadoes are completely unpredictable, straying that close to any tornado isn't necessary.
Camera zoom technology is cheap and amazing nowadays.

Spectacular. It's amazing seeing a clear blue sky on the left side.
This needs to be used as an instructional vid. NO stupid music - NO stopping the car with idiots mugging for the camera or asinine selfies saying how great they are - NO dumb captioning - and NO fool trying to narrate - NO self-righteous prayers to Jesus. BEST OF ALL you had the sense to mount the camera so the picture is steady and the operator isn't flicking it all over the place every other second. As it happens, you feel like you're in the car experiencing it yourself. ABSOFUKINGLOOTLY GREAT - KUDOS - THUMBS UP

I live in rural Oklahoma and I want to thank you for still driving cautiously and being aware of stop signs and such during your chase. So many chasers disregard these things carelessly.
I've always been in awe of tornadoes and have seen many shows on tv, UA-cam so on and so on, but I would have to say he had some the best narration I've probably ever heard.
I'm literally surrounded by mountains so I've never seen one of these and I never want to. This is absolutely terrifying.
Tornado chasers, you guys make a difference in saving lives. Unfortunately people do lose their lives due to a tornado but because of your willingness to put yourself in danger in order to report the paths , you save many lives. Thank you for what you do. Great vid by the way.
Good video, man! No "screaming or yelling" like REED TIMMER does BLAH BLAH BLAH! I had to throw that in there because people think it's trendy to throw Reed under the bus, when in all reality Reed has earned his right to yell and scream when he gets excited. Other than that, this was a beautiful tornado, and you guys got a very good shot of it!
Really professional. Always thinking of the quality of the footage while keeping everyone safe by making sure they stopped at the stop sign. Remembered back to the Kelley Williamson incident.

By "farm equipment thing", I was referring to a time when a tornado pushed one of those irrigation pivots into our windshield 5 years ago. Hence why I was like, "not another farm equipment thing..". If you Google "storm chasers farm equipment", you can see the video of that.
@@jadevajna8827 would that have been the El Reno tornado in 2013? I remember some storm chasers being pelted with hay bails, roof tin, bailers, and even irrigators.

If it were us Brits, we’d have pulled over, got the table and chairs out , made a pot of tea and quietly talked about the weather.
After all the UK has more tornadoes per square mile than any other country including the USA (only smaller ones though).
Absolute breath taking force of nature !!!! The guy leading is spot on and poised ! Probably the most impressif I've seen as far as tornados, remembering though they are merciless killers....
I watched your little series on Netflix and watched every episode in one day. It was hilarious and loved your fun adventures. I started watching more storm and tornado videos because I find them absolutely amazing and exciting. No CGI was created to use this video. Awesome footage.
It's interesting that no matter how the tornado elongates and bends, it still reaches from the same place in the clouds. It's just a linear swirl that starts at one point and ends wherever it ends, and it never breaks . This tornado had a lot of personality. I'm not a fan of them wrecking people's homes, but I would really like to see one in person someday.

I saw this tornado I was on the other side.
This was the second tornado this storm produced, and it just kept droping tornados unfortunately due to down trees and power lines I only got to see two of them pecos hank got at least four. Great footage guys!

Amazing, That was a beautiful tornado and something you would see in a movie or in our dreams.
Great footage. I have seen a lot of tornadoes since I was four years old and one went down our road in front of our house. One suggestion of caution: you may be miles from the tornado but the debris may not be! I have seen a truck go on top of a car and crush it.
