It’s Amazing how they missed Jesus.
They didn’t miss Jesus ,what they did was refuse to admit they put their Messiah on a Cross and denied him his rightful claim to be God.
Not only that Rabbis then refused to read Isiah 53 openly but instead simply ignored it.
Now questions are being asked they still in denial claim it means something else.
The one thing that puts all of this in question is why they opted to dismiss the prophecy of Isaiah altogether rather than simply carry on reading and teaching it whilst ignoring those they claim to be not in the know?

When a Jew is willing to admit that Isaiah 53 could be about the messiah but he didn’t fulfill the conquering prophecies show them these verse in Isaiah 53:
8 By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested?

9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,

Notice how in verse 11 it says that AFTER He has suffered in Death THEN He would see the light of life (Resurrection) and verse 12 says therefore He will be given a portion among the great and divide the spoils with the strong BECAUSE He poured out His life unto death!
So in conclusion Isaiah 53 is clear that The Messiah must die first before He would have a part in conquering as the other Mashiach Ben-David prophecies state would be fulfilled!
Only the Holy Spirit can reveal this to you! Matt 16: 17
He already conquered the world In the form of Christianity.

I've been told that in synagogue, Jews read the entire Tanakh through the year, but skip over Isaiah 53. The chapter sounds too much like Jesus. Don't know if this is the practice of all synagogues, or only some.

Orthodox Jews can talk out both sides of their mouth at the same time and if you call them on it they will claim antisemitism
One barrier with our Jewish friends is that they often will talk about “the Jewish view” on this or that, not realizing that 1) modern Judaism is radically different from ancient Judaism, and 2) there have been tons of different rabbinic interpretations of passages and issues (see the Talmudic literature), not just one unified view.
Try them with "the miracle of the genealogy" in Genesis Chapter 5.

He's harking back to 'as a Jew' and 'the Jewish interpretation'. In actuality Jews at the time were expecting Messiah because his timing was prophesied. The wise men knew to watch as well.
Then you have the actual Jewish perspective where they get around this by saying there are 2 messiahs. Messiah Ben Joseph(suffering servant) and Messiah Ben David(ruling King)

If Isaiah 53 is about the Messiah there cant be just one coming. How should Messiah come once to rule eternaly and then die? Doesnt make sense.
There has to be 2 comings. 1 to die and 1 to rule
I think that this conversation exemplifies for us the adherence to tradition. We Christians too are adherents to many of the traditions of greek culture and later the Catholic Church rather than the Bible. Namely Neoplatonism and the immortal soul. Ask yourself if when we die and go to heaven or hell why then are people being judged before the day of judgment when Jesus comes?!
Second, is the changing of the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. There is no thus says the Lord in the New Testament like the sabbath in the Old Testament. When Paul says in Colossians 2:16 let no man judge you concerning sabbath days he’s referring to the different Jewish holidays, not the Ten Commandment sabbath.

Jews listen to whatever their are told so they have a bias interpretation of the text… rabbinic Judaism will not interpret Isaiah 53 as it being Jesus although it’s clear that this is the Messiah of the Jews that was crucified for the sins of his people even the whole world .

The suffering servant could also be the servant of God who dies BECAUSE of the sins of the people, BECAUSE they disbelieve in him despite him being the Messiah and hence God punishes them by aborting the messianic mission ( and hence allowing the romans to capture and crucify Jesus). This seems to be Luke’s interpretation of events in contrast to the other 3 Gospels.
A UA-camr by the name of “The Muslim Metaphysician” made a video about you being wrong on your claim of Justin Martyr speaking about Islam he said that is impossible because he passed away before Islam was even created. What about the sacrifices, those were to take away the sins of the people…can they not be shown that Jesus had to have been sacrificed for our sins? I mean they expect the Messiah to come and rule, but then where is the sacrificial lamb. There is no remission of sin without the shedding of blood.

I have had times of feeling deep hurt for another person, but never a stranger , never have I put myself in that situation by choice, and it was for someone I love a family member, Jesus was born to suffer a terrible death, to be broken for me, to love me so deeply that he chose to suffer in my stead, he was a Jew I’m Chilean in my country’s history there is heroes that fought for liberty but none die for personally like Jesus, and can say personality because he is personal with me , the Jews have this event in their very history how can they deny their messiah as if he didn’t exit!

The matter is not whether "Judaism" or "Christianity" or any other world "religion" is correct. The important part is what actually IS correct - what did God say in the scripture. Taking information from doctrines and religious scholars is useful, but it's no substitute for reading the original texts and seeing what they say. Isaiah 53 doesn't leave much room for ambiguity.
This is not entirely correct. Jesus notes that we are to obey the religious authorities emplaced above us by God (Mat 23:2-3).
Phillip notes that we need a divinely appointed instructor in the meaning of the scriptures (Acts 8:30-31).
Peter notes that it is easy to misinterpret the scriptures even to the point of spiritual self harm (2Pet 3:16).
So it is not my Bible, Jesus and me. But rather it is membership in Christ's Church, guided by the Holy Spirit, by which you can be assured of having the correct interpretation of the scriptures, avoid doctrinal error and obtain graces through those sacraments instituted by Jesus.
