I love love love this!! Limited palette paintings are always so harmonious and put together. The Highland cow has fabulous hair. I can almost see her shaking her head back in the chilly breeze, letting her glorious locks flow around her head, lol 😂😂 Hugs and blessings on this sunny Sunday. XOXO ☀️🌻
Thankyou so much, from the home of Highland Coos in Scotland. I'm just about to embark on a painting in memory of my cousin who sadly passed away and this is the subject. I've learned a lot from this video. Kepp painting. Much love from Scotland Wx

I just ordered the paint and picked up the canvas..a Winter project. Guess I'll be spending some time with you. I haven't painted in at least 6 years..I'm just so excited to get started.
Good info Faith! In my newer videos I am using Liquitex clear gesso on wood would panels, then painting. I still get some shrinking of the paint as it dries. Painting a color ground first does hide some of that. THANKS for stopping by my channel! 🎨🤗I will keep experimenting.
@@AnnieTroe you’re welcome. I’m a fellow artist myself. I don’t make videos on my channel. But I might in the future. It’s a tip I’ve picked up from Chloe Rose Art
A lovely painting Annie. Amazing that you created it using only three colours. I love Highland cattle to Our, although they can be quite grumpy apparently lol (-: Marion
Hey Marion! The Prussian blue (or just darken another blue a bit) makes it easy to get a blackish looking color ❤️👍 I didn’t know Highland cows can be grumpy 😂 thanks for your kind words and stopping by 🎨🤗
I have 3 cow traceables you can use to help (one is for this cow). Paint them smaller to make them much easier. One I painted with black and white first - then glazed color. I thought that was easier to manage, but maybe more time/steps. Or just check out one of my easier painting/videos/traceables if you like. ENJOY! 👋🎨🤗
Wow what amazing work! I looove the highland cow painting! You inspire me to try to attempt this. Not sure that I can match this piece of work but I wanna try!
This is soooooooo adorable ! You make it look easy, though I know it isn't, I just took up painting last year & hope that some day I will be half as good as you are....your paintings are so beautiful 💖
Hey Michelle! If you want, paint it much smaller, that will make it easier ❤ I have been painting almost every day since the beginning of the pandemic. All that practice has really helped me improve! LOVED this Annie!!! You sent me the link a little while ago, and I came right here and watched the whole thing! I LOVE the idea of the 'two color' palette and will definitely try.
