Dear brother 1 Corinthians 14:2 says he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God.
You need not interpret it to God because he is the author and beginner.But in the Corinth church tongues was abused and spoken to men even during preaching sermon and that is why paul interrupts and says if u r speaking to men u should also interpret (1 Corinthians 14:19).
But the sermon above is about the blessings and use of tongue, the gift of the Holy Spirit.It is given for us to speak mysteries to God ! If used to prophecy or voice out the knowledge or wisdom of God to man then it should be interpreted so that man understands.,..... hope you are clear.
