Who cares? He was an amazing guitar player and his playing stood out from the hordes of other 80's hc bands. Would you not listen to band like Void, if you found out Bubba Dupree was a rich kid? The music is what matters, who cares what the f**k their background, personal beliefs or politics are.

Everyone I know over the age of 30 that still claims to be a " punk " should be avoided. I've been into the music for nearly 3 decades. Most " punks " I know work shitty jobs, can't hold long-term relationships with the opposite sex, hangout in bars and discuss the same obscure records with each other, time and time again. What a sh*tty life to live.

I've been punk since I was 13 and maybe I'm lucky because I've always played music so I have a different approach. I've never scrounged for money at the train station, but they are still my brothers and sisters and I prefer their company a thousand times over the conformist philistines!
