They actually never went anywhere, I just broke out my Eddy Bauer 8’ 6wt glass rod and it cast great . Fly fisherman have been ate up with faster lighter for over 20 years ( I’m guilty) but as they we’re talking about faster lighter does not always equate to better. There just different and don’t seem to break as easy .Thanks for sharing.
I'm new to fly fishing. Should you match you fly line to your flys. Based on how heavy they are. Should you try to keep your fly line as flat to your fly as possible?
