- Hello. My name is Ubaid ur Rehman and I am from Pakistan
September/oct 2023 is my intake. My course is Msc Corporate financial management. My campus is in Birmingham.
This video is all about ULET. Im going to type my Ulet experience for those who don’t understand Urdu language.
Well I completed my ulet in march. This test is quite similar to ielts but this one is easier. The pattern is same as ilets i.e 4 parts ( Listening, reading, writing and speaking). The listening part consists of mcqs, fill in the blanks and true or false. You’ll be able to listen audio 2 times to answer your questions.
Reading part is quite similar to ielts but this test doesn’t have question of diagrams or labelling pictures.
Writing part have 2 questions.1. Write an email to hostel accommodation about the problems you’re facing and give solutions (2 problems) 2. Write an essay on technology ( these were the questions I had in my ulet)
Speaking part was simple. There was no real human being present to take my exam. It was done through computer. My questions were, 1. What kind of job you’re planning to do in future and why? 2. Advantages of learning multiple languages. 3,4 i forgot. There will be one lecture of 3 to 4 mnts that you have to listen and then explain what you’ve learned. Every answer should be in 90 seconds each as far as I remember.
Result will come after 7 days. And unconditional will come within 3 days. ( Im telling you guys my own experience)
To this date 24/07/23 I have uploaded my bank statement and waiting for my cas letter.

Speaking task:
You have to speak 90 seconds for each question.
1. which strategies you have used for learning English
2. Face to face study is good or online?
3. Listen to a lecturer and summarise it in your own words
4. You missed a class and give reason to your teacher why you missed it.
5. Why you chose university of law and what is your subject.
6. Forgot.

Its a general assessment. Some times they repeat same test questions for others. Agr kisi ny test dia ho ap se kuch din pehly to chances hain same questions aa jaen.

2ndly i wants to know about at which place you did perform your ULet?? At home or in any office. And if we face any technical issue like internet or electricity for PC or battery life for laptop. Can we rejoin our test or we cant
Bro I just attempted this test on the first go. I have no idea if you can rejoin.
The thing I know is if you fail this test then there’s no retake.

I want to ask that you talk about making notes on notepad in speaking part. Can we make notes in listening part?
No you’re not allowed to do so. While speaking, there’s that one long lecture and you can take notes of that lecture only. And that too on note pad on their test application

I know one person who couldn’t clear the test. He wasn’t allowed to have retake of this test. I don’t know further abt him.

If you haven't given an ielts exam then is it okay? I mean they will take your own English test?
Yes their internal English test is equal to ielts. But their test certificate cannot be used for any other university. If you’re rejected by Ulaw at any stage then that internal test is of no use.

google ielts band score requirements. . You can get an idea of 6.5 bands’ required marks through google

Today was ny ulet. Listening and reading was moderate in writtting they ask write an email to take extra computer or it class to your teacher and the easy was teching method reduce stress level do you agree or disagree
And speaking was also easy there are just 6 parts and each part has just one question
One part consist on listen a leacture and summarise it 90 seconds

@@Ubaid163 hey ... I've a query that Do we had to send an email to the university for reminder ? I'm registered for 22 Sep Ulet exam but still there's no test preparation related email on my portal ... do they generate one or I had to ask for ? Kindly tell me about what was in your case ?
You’ll get an email today. I don’t think you’ll get any preparation email. They’ll send you your exam timings and the rules and regulations you have to follow for the exam. They usually send this email 24hrs before your test time
