its a shame to og series was never finished because the creator died, they had so many crossovers like devilman x cyborg009 or devilman X getter robo. hell the classic devilman was in super robot was at one point on mobile, but it never came to global. think about that devilman was so strong he could fight mechs like burning gundam and iron blood gundam. without a mech.
also if your wondering why im saying "og" and not "crybaby" because they are "two separate canons". both are canon but one was made by the og creator "go nagi". while the other crybaby was made after his passing by his family on streaming sites like netfilx he's the same guy who made manga/anime like violence jack [a 18+ sequel to devilman set after the true ending in the manga].
and go nagai never got to finish the anime devil man he died after the arc with the turtle and the harpy. [i can't remember their names they were meant to be one off grunts anyways.]
im honestly surprised how few people have even seen violence jack considering how popular devilman is. but given the fact go nagai is a 18+ mangaka its not THAT shocking, most people don't even know half of his manga is all 18+ gore fests or nudity. he has stuff for kids like the old devilman tv show but most weren't like that. Most were like "violence jack" which has both but leans hard on the gore or were like "cutie hunnie" which is basically a pro0n.
and he has a ton of manga like over 300 if im remembering the mangaka right. i get him and junji ito mixed up alot because they basically did the same thing.
