I couldn't even tell that 17 minutes had passed while watching the video. When Stephy said "thank you for watching," I thought it had only been 4 or 5 minutes. The visuals were amazing as always- thanks!
Would you have some issues on the right front brakes when driving (sticking pads on the disc) so that becomes hot while driving? There were a couple of spare parts near a Toyota Hiace on the side of the main road before arriving in Maun :D
Brings back memories, we camped on an island in the Okavango delta in 2013, in the evening we could hear Lions hunting Zebra on the neighbouring island.
An amazing video as always! You guys look so tired by doing the best to show to true beauty. Amazing job. Thank you so much for your content. I started following you from the Afghanistan video before COVID-19. What an amazing journey. Thank you again!
Hello, super vidéo. Je serai au Botswana en avril 2025 pour 15 jours en self drive dans les parcs. Jai hâte de voir la suite de votre aventure. A bientôt.
I really hope you get to go into Moremi Game Reserve. It's the most amazing experience imaginable. Truly wild and animals rome through camp, lions, elephants, Buffalo, Hippos etc. Xakanaxa and Third Bridge are the two main campsites. I have been there 3 times in 12 months, it's my favorite place on the planet and been in most countries.
Sounds like you need some insulation on the Defender. Try wrapping the exhaust in an exhaust heat wrap and laying down dynamat on the floorboard. It might cool it off enough that you can keep your feet on the floor. I used to have a problem in my 2002 4Runner where my drinks in the cup holder would get hot enough to heat tea after several hours, and it worked well enough that my drinks in the cup holder no longer get hot.Good luck!
The Okavango delta is just amazing, had the great pleasure to visit in the year 2,000, flew in a small plane from Maun to a dirt strip in the middle of the delta, then mekoro to a wild camp on an island for a couple of days, travelling by mekoro is an amazing experience. We left by speed boat, winding along the main river, very fast, an amazing trip. So glad that you are experiencing it.
Welcome to Botswana guys, 🇧🇼 really wish I could see Grizzly &Bear live... Please do visit Kubu Island and Nxai Pan next time around... amazing places.
Cool drone shots of the landy flexing along those tracks . And a neat white Land Rover defender pickup , and the junkyard white one along the road way a little later on . always fun to see other landys when out and about . And to spot one in videos as well . What a beautiful area . And cool wild life shots as well . Always a joy to watch your over landing videos . Thanks for sharing your wonderful adventure travel videos with us you over landing friends . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🌍🍻👍🏼😎
Africa is a fascinating continent. We ( my son and me) had the chance, to discover Moroc with our LR 109 Series 3 (200TDi swap) for three months some years ago. Thanks for sharing the impressions. Heinz, Germany
Simply magnificent. Another "wish it was me" video. Everytime I watch the OmO detergent reminds me of Homer Simpson claiming to be The Homo since Bart is El Barto and I laugh 😂. Great to see the Patreon List going Star Wars intro size, thanks to all of them. ¡¡Pura Vida!!
Top episode Guys, loved Botswana and the Delta when I was there, recognised some places in Maun, the locals also corrected us in the pronunciation (Ma-oon). Safe travels and look forward to the next episode !!!! 🤠😎
Good content, no, not soft but many feel you have lost your way and the sense of adventure and are a little tired of the continual gallivanting away from what subscribers signed up for
Your feet burning... this happens to the driver's passenger in a pajero also. The reason for us was because of where the turbo is located. Maybe its the same for you?
Folks, which kind of truck-based camper would be best for world travel in regard to dependability, fuel efficiency, and safety/comfort when choosing between Mercedes Actros, Arocs or Zetros? I am not seeking extreme off-road situations, but, as this video shows, dirt, sand or mud roads are part of world travel.
Unfortunately we don’t know much about Trucks . I am sorry . We love our set up because it is compact and it fits is a sea container. We can park in a normal size car park and we can go into narrow roads. The Zetros looks awesome .
@@GrizzlyNbearOverland was there last week , so beautiful after the rain . so many lions , hippos , hyenas in camp . true wild camping . no walking to toilets after dark . enjoy . if you're ever back in cape town , let me know
@@GrizzlyNbearOverland is the puma heater matrix on the passenger side bulkhead? Could be that the valve is knackered and that it keeps circulating coolant through it.
I find it hard to believe you actually spend much time in the back, it would reek in days, and with oil rig cash you would not suffer a camper life, you would off camera get the best you can get, prove me wrong.
We don't actually live in the camper at all, you're right! You've found us out. We have helicopters collect us from remote locations and fly us to 5 star resorts for champagne and cavier 🥂❤️

Have a bushtech alloy canopy arriving around January they are made in south africa will finally have some room to put thing's. Love what you have done with GrizzlyNbear .

It looks like off season because of heat? AC install next mission 😎
It's happening 😉
Your feet burning... this happens to the driver's passenger in a pajero also. The reason for us was because of where the turbo is located. Maybe its the same for you?
That could be the reason for sure. We are going to install a turbo cover / shield and see if that helps.
13:30 ...
German Apfelmus in the desert?
Where did you buy it? 😮😂
We found it in a local supermarket. Very tasty 😊

Or an AC ? 😉
Is your puma not air conditioned?
No it's not but we are right now installing 😉
Bonjour…la photographie était très belle…..avec quoi? …portable…gopro? Merci Denis
Un mix . Canon 90D , iPhone and mavic mini .

Is the exhaust on the right side? Underfloor heating in winter and melting shoes in summer.
We thought it was the exhaust but not.. currently working on that problem.

Then it could just be you heating up everything around you. 🤷🏻♂️

Hi guys!!! I saw my country flag do you really visit and if you... Can you let me know which episode it is.... 🇧🇬 Bulgaria.. thanks
Yes Bulgaria. We crossed quite quickly unfortunately. And it was before we made videos… we hope to return one day.
If you have to ask that question the answer is yes. So many innuendo jokes but I will hold myself back.
Hi doesn’t the landy have diff locks
No diff lock only centre diff lock and a limited slip diff in the rear.
What are the prices generally like at the lodges n Africa?
On average for a camp site it's between $10-$50 per person / night.
Varies a lot depending on the region dvd how much tourism it sees.
We all are not getting soft , we are getting wiser ... eh
Wiser: a beautiful word for Older 🤣
Keep travelling together ❤ will keep supporting you guys
Superbe découverte du delta Okavango et que de beaux oiseaux 👍
A bientôt sur vos routes ❤
Merci beaucoup. Pas évidemment à filmer les oiseaux… surtout depuis un bateau 😅
