Thanks for this. I'm noticing the section of wall that is left blank, between the counter top backsplashes. How will you address that? It's an issue I have myself.
That would be a backsplash repair to the countertop...an entire different video.
Wait, so you have an option to use a 3 OR 4 prong power cable?
4:34 you're welcome...
At 5:59 in the video, you're connecting the wires to a white card with some circuits/blue and red dots. I need to replace that white card with the blue and red dots, but I can't seem to find the part name and number. My model range is: KSEG950ESS1.
Make sure the cooktop portion is above the level of the counter top or you will melt your counter top or worse, have a fire. This video should show this, the way you have it in the video is not a proper installation and will lead people to think that the cooktop is fine when it's below the level of the counter top. It definitely should be above the level of the counter top.
How much above?
The thickness of the cooktop, appx 1/4 inch
What is red and blue button like?
Does anyone know why all these "how to installation" videos tell you to cut the power? I mean, you're not working with the house wiring.
Why are there 3 wires? What are the red and black wires for? Are they both hot wires?

Can I replace my Gas stove to a Electric stove?
Thank you :)
Thanks
This is too hard for me.
