    Let me introduce an argument:
    I assume the CBQ method might have helped lot of people as mentioned in the description and there might be some peoole with causing new addiction to products relating ro NRT. But that doesnt mean NRT products like patches, gums, etc don't work. Both of these methods might work for different people. There is no need to down credit one to market the other. The only sources cited against the Patches and gums here are all anecdotal. And assuming you are from a scientific research background, it is well documented why anecdotal evidences are not credible. So it would have been much more credible to cite actual studies and researches to what you are claiming.
    This is coming from a person who will be starting Nicotine patches from tomorrow to quit smoking. I will try to update my personal experience here for anyone who might need.
    In the end all these discussions are for one goal, quit smoking and nicotine addiction.
    Have a nice day!

    I am more the "Cold Turkey" type of person, i want to live through my own mistakes, that makes me never want to go back and for me personally to feel the poison actually leaving my body and feeling ill of it is much stronger than any external help.... In my opinion a substitute is basically the same but just a little saver.....
    Oh and my grandpa used to smoke a lot, so he started chewing nicotine guns... So next thing was that he was AND, addicted to smoking still and he started to keep on chewing nic. gum.
    I am with you on this miss. (Or Doctor sorry than😅)

    Love this!! (I suspect NRT companies are in cahoots with the leading tobacco companies!) Love how you cast a light on the sneaky nature of this addiction by reminding us that the rules change, and what may be okay for someone never addicted is not okay for those of us who have been. Gold! Very solid truth here! I had tried to quit using patches and lozenges, and almost thought they would work. They did not and it was only trading one annoyance for another. Cig smoke smells awful and having to carry a spit cup for the lozenges is just as gross if not more so! 👎😖 I tried a vape for 2 weeks once to help me cut the cost but then I was almost addicted to the flavor of the vape! I wore patches while I smoked!! If anything, that made my tolerance to nicotine higher! It's no wonder I smoked almost 3 packs a day at one point!
    None of them are worth it! Efharisto! Thank you Nasia! Have a beautiful week!!

    Strange and wierd! After watching this discouraging video about NRT (Nicotine Replacement Therapy), I felt fearful and anxious about using gum. I couldn't watch the entire video and ended up reaching for my nicotine gum bottle due to the anxiety this video caused. It's essential to offer positive encouragement and empathy for those trying to quit smoking and use gum as a step towards a smoke-free life. Each step matters, and acknowledging progress is crucial. Remember, quitting smoking is the priority, and gradually reducing gum usage can follow. Let's support individuals on their journey without categorizing gum and smoking together, as it may discourage them from trying at all.

      You need to stop listening to people like this Russian. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Nicotine it’s a natural substance that’s found in some plants I believe like eggplant for example. Also smokers were the once who didn’t get covid because of the presence of Nicotine in the cigarettes. The harmful and addictive substance in cigarettes is not Nicotine but the hundreds of chemicals they put in the cigarettes. Keep using your Nicotine patches or gum as they are very beneficial. Look up other videos about nicotine and you will see it is a beneficial substance now used medically. Lot of videos here on YT to prove this quack wrong.

      You are the only one speaking against using nicotine patches or gum. Why? Nicotine is not a harmful substance. The harmful substance in cigarettes were the hundreds of chemicals added to cigarettes. Nicotine today is used to heal many medical issues and there are doctors here on YT who speak about it. Your video is the only one who speaks against Nicotine that actually prevented smokers from getting Covid. The cigarettes were addictive because they added addictive chemicals to them, had zero to do with nicotine.

    I am on day 7 of no nicotine. After years and years of using nicotine gum. It was uncomfortable to say the least. But by day 5 I started noticing the benefits. I didn’t use other nicotine sources but this addiction to nicotine didn’t have breaks from daily use since the start of 2018.

    I’m really interested to hear your opinion or see you give a video on the disposable vapes. Like the elf bars and the crystal vapes for example.
    Alot of people I know are convinced that because they switched to these vapes that they dont smoke anymore so they are free of that negative label of being a smoker & that they think they are ‘fine and healthier’ but I think these vapes are really harmful for you, full of chemicals & they have the fruity flavours to make them seem appealing and more socially acceptable.
    Also they are still addicted to the nicotine and can have their hit anywhere.
    Furthermore, I see various people who just use both products.
    Practically the majority of people I know, especially young people either smoke or vape on a regular basis.

    • @CBQMethod
      @CBQMethod  Рік тому +3

      You are right. Vaping is a mental, behavioral and physical addiction all by itself. Healthier does not mean healthy. In fact, vaping is a stronger behavioral habit because it rarely leaves the hand. So those who vape may end up consuming more nicotine and chemicals making vaping arguably as unhealthy as smoking.

    • @freefalling419
      @freefalling419 Рік тому +4

      @@CBQMethod Personally I dont see either of them being healthier than the other. I just seeing them causing harm in similar and different ways and both involve nicotine and are really difficult to quit.
      In my opinion they are two sides of the same evil coin and I understand I might be conspiratorial in saying this but I dont believe that alot of these vapes have been produced to help people quit smoking/nicotine at all but just to create another generation of nicotine dependents.
      Its the same playbook as when they first produced cigarettes in the 1960s.

    I’m using 14mg patches & inhalator together and what you say is very true I’m going to try what you say tomorrow I know I can do it because I did it before (20 pk a day) & quit for 5 years and started again because I wanted to be a social smoker..nope that doesn’t work! So I started on 10 & then down to 5 per day so I should find it easier this time! ❤ thank you 😊

    Hi. I have smoked for 40 years, and came off cigarettes years ago but now heavily addicted to nicotine vape. It's dangerous and very worrying as it is easier to increase my nicotine intake anytime, anywhere. And cheaper than cigarettes. I can puff away all day. Very harmful and worse than cigarettes. 😢

    • @Rugmunchersauce3
      @Rugmunchersauce3 7 місяців тому +1

      Worse? Really ? That's a bummer. I, too, have been a heavy smoker for 39 years and am trying to quit. I used a vape thing for a while and I DID feel better but I noticed that if I didn't check myself, I was puffing away at it almost all the time. Anyway, the f'kin thing broke and I can't afford a new one so I am trying the patches, 25mg. It's been 2 weeks now and the temptation is still very strong at times. I don't want to just swap one addiction for another so soon am going to just take the plunge and stop altogether.
      What am I writing this for, I don't know, but good luck to you. I hope you get there without strangling anybody ! 😅
