My grandparents have been married for 51 years this month, and together for 54. Everytime they get asked what the secret is they always say keep God at the center of the relationship, and have patience. Lots of patience.

I love y'all. You are amazing and your heart for the Lord is beyond encouraging. I can't wait to be married someday. Today, I went to the grocery store with a few friends, and I was too tired to walk so I just sat in the shopping cart for an hour or so. I thought of you. P.s. I didn't do just because I was tired. I also have health issues (autoimmune and who knows what else) and at a church retreat last weekend, I produced a sinus and lung infection. Ewwwwey. Thank you for the laughs and encouragement. For the video on the Today Show, I recognized a few other UA-cam videos. One was a veteran coming home to his dog which was at his house already.
I think mainstream media uses sites like UA-cam for source content (often out of context), so you'd probably have to contact them for a retraction to get the credit and traffic you deserve as well as clearing up the fact that Ollie isn't a pet.

My hubby & I are in the "mid to oldie" weds club (24 years next month)....seems like it was only yesterday lol!! We were married on snow skis at Lake Tahoe, California. Back in the days when we were extreme sports crazies, and before my health issues took us on a very different path in life. They used a similar iv ball system for anesthetic to be dripped into my incision area after foot surgery a few weeks ago for over 5 days. Mine had a dosing dial to increase or decrease flow and it came with this super cheesy fanny back to carry it; believe me you're not missing out in the fanny pack area if you didnt get one.
Enjoyed that. Takes stresses of moving down. Always love the vloggs

I know what you mean when you say that the IVs make you feel prikally, when I was younger and had IVs a lot for bone strengthening stuff, I no longer have it as my leg was amputated, and it was not good for the other medical condition I have. But you are so inspiring to me doing pt every day, you are so amazing. I love your vlogs

Happy 5th Anniversary again! I guess I'm considered an "old-ly wed" our wedding Anniversary in June will be our 40th! Yay! I have to say, you guys are so very smart in all that IV stuff with the syringes and all, good job you two, such a team!! :-) I love Ollie's sock, he doesn't seem to mind it, and its a great way to prevent him from licking his foot. This reminds me of when my sister was little and my mom was laughing at something that she had done. My sister said "stop laughing at me!" My mom said "I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you." Then my sister said "but I'm not laughing."

+zennmomma I usually use the "Eclipse" but this specific one with the green tops is called the AccuFlo. There is also one that looks like a baby bottle that acts the same way, so that you don't need an iv pole. It's definitely worth asking about!

Feel like contacting the people who run the show here and telling them ollie is a service dog and he wasn't lost ! But, still cute. Here the I.v at home comes in a bottle much like a baby bottle that shrinks in the centre. They even given give you a 1980s bum bag to go around your waist if you want to go out and a mesh shower bag to hang on the tap if your hooked up 24/7 . Lol. Xxx

Haha thats crazy! How do you flush the line on the bubble? Home IV stuff fascinates me because I've always done all my antibiotics in the hospital since I don't have a port. Happy Anniversary!!!
+wolfsrule100 I think it is overfilled just the right amount so that you don't have to flush the line- the right amount of drug infuses over the time it is hooked up and the small amount of drug left in the tubing is fine :) Good question

+Dullcrayon Oh that's cool! Yes indeed, we sure did enjoy it! It was funny, because we went in January, and we were most definitely the only couple under the age of 60 at the resort :) haha that's ok with us!
+The Frey Life The avg age for people who live here is pretty high haha! You Prolly had the dining room to yourself because all the early birds go at like 5pm! If you go more towards where the FAU campus is there are a few more things to do around there. ++ the beach is like /right/ there. Almost every road leads to the beach!

I don't have cystic fibrosis but I have pulmonary fibrosis which isn't as bad as cystic. anyways I used to have just a IV bag and pole which was such a pain in the butt since you have to take the pole with you everywhere. I just recently received a ball for my meds which is so much better. anyways hope you had a great anniversary.
