Great video Jeff! I remember creating something similar for a scheduling calendar before dynamic array formulas were released. It was so much more difficult to do back then. Dynamic arrays make life easy. 😊
I watched this video yesterday, I created my first calendar yesterday. I love it. Just one question, how about if I want each item to show up on it's own line, instead of one after the other, just separated by comma?
Is it possible to show the length of the programs? For instance, I have programs that run 4 weeks or 8 weeks or 12 weeks and they all have different start dates. Is there a way to display what programs are running everyday?
Thank you for all the content. Any tips regarding fixing the “Formula Bar” font changing when displaying a formula? For example, when you click the CELL the formula bar presents a FONT but when you press the formula bar to make changes the FONT changes making me double click the bar to reposition.
Thank you for the video. I have a question. How do you eliminate duplicate information, so it only appears once in the calendar? Then taking it a step further, how do I incorporate multiple sheets into the one calendar?
The formatting applied to the cell (left/right alignment) doesn't impact the functions :) The functions operate on the stored value, regardless of formatting.
great calender but how would you add events with a start and end date? i want to create a year calendar that shows all the onsite days for my event staff. a month could have multiple events happening at the same time

Thanks Jon!! I agree and am still discovering ways to apply dynamic arrays :)
So easy to follow thank you
Thank you very kindly. Never knew most of this was possible. I am in your debt.
Jeff, always, thank you! I've already modified your exercises to fit a recent need at my company!
This is indeed advanced concept but the way you make it look easy is also another level for me
Thanks for sharing this tips and tricks
Thanks Jeff, great as always. Paul
Great info ... Thanks Jeff

Awesome!!! I answered my own question. I would be nice to have a TODAY Function in there. I'm trying to figure it out. Help please? Thank you so much!

Hi Jeff. Does it matter whether the date is to the left or to the right of the cell with the WEEKDAY of the EOM functions? Many thanks :)
The formatting applied to the cell (left/right alignment) doesn't impact the functions :)

@@ExcelU thank you!
Hello, on exercise 3 you didn't explain how you got the starting template E11:K21. It doesn't copy over from exercise 2. Can you explain? Thank you!
I have the same question - I can't get the formula to work and I don't know why,. I think it has to do with the way the table was set up.

I’m releasing a video that demonstrates that this Wednesday :)
How can I start the week on a Monday? Thank you in advance.
You just start the week on a Monday. You typed the days it at the top (or used fill series).
