Yeah, I remember certain movies you had literally wait a week for to see it show up before you could order. And sometimes one movie got entire 3 day runs, but the channel was worth it for the music and promos alone.
This is what i call old school pay-per-view research! I can't believe that Arachnophobia came out on Pay-Per-View in April of 1991. I wonder when box office hits including Ghost, Dick Tracy and Days of Thunder came on Pay-Per-View. I'm thinking between January and March.
I can concur. Viewers choice Canada used the 3 spotlight V logo right from the beginning. I have the feature magazine from September 1991 when viewers choice debuted.
Awww scrambled softcore porn...those were the days....
Eric Estrada and six Playboy centerfolds? How the hell did that not get nominated for an Oscar?
The good ol’ days! The golden era of c-band satellite. Pay per view movies came out roughly three weeks before VHS / video store releases.
Summer 1991-I Was 13! Those were the days watching these clips!
TheRenard10 yeah me too

misses viewer's choice wishes DirecTV would bring it back but I know the odds are slim. VC was the best in the 80s/90s

Loved the announcers voice. Wish he would come back to do other things.
Someone told me his name was Wendell Craig. He did the V/O's for Nickelodeon, Nick @ Nite, and A&E.
+elkinsinboxinc and New Line Home Video bumpers. Don't forget New Line Home Video bumpers.
