Booster Gold(alongside Hawkman, Blue Beetle, Moon Knight and Cyclops) can be fairly Difficult to Write for some people. Since DC likes to go back to "Ground Zero"(RE:Retcon) so often, it can be hard to keep any sort of Character Development in the above listed. Booster was originally meant to go back in n time to stop(or at least Stall) certain Events from happening to certain People. It was one of the main Reasons Skeets came back with him(that and he himself couldn't remember all the Events off the top of his head). He was using his fame and Fortune more as an early version of a modern Influencer so that he could do what he set out to do(especially since, according to HIS timeline History, no one knew who Booster Gold was). Then they "revealed" in a Justice League Book that he was in it only for the Money & fame, completely destroying ALL of both his Character Backstory and the Character development he had in his own first series run. Sadly, the Booster from JLE was the one a lot of modern writers grew up on and think that that's the "OG" version...

You should go get a job at Google to help out with their A. I algorithms. Cause the only way you would have been be able to predict where the story was going beyond Batman having to go up against failsafe. You must be a robot and could help speed the progess along.
I love that comics arent afraid to depict unseltlong topics like self harm here or SA as you've shown with the Dr light vids recently. Acknowlegdeing these topics is way better than pretending they dont exist
That light saber design was literally based on a toy that they released a few years ago, where it was an unusually large light saber, but you twist the held, and the light saber dagger would come out of the end.
I was talking about something like this with my fiancé, about going back in time and changing things. Sometimes the current yet painful outcome, is the best outcome overall 😔
So anybody with time travel technology listen up. This is how you save Bruce Wayne parents and still keep Batman. On the night of the death you fake their deaths with clones while saving them. Transport them to the present day when Bruce is apart of the Justice League and somewhere stable in his storyline. In fact you can do this for everyone who lost someone to early. Just bring them back to the future after significant events have transpired that would build the heroes or heroines character.
There's canonically a Batman story where Bruce's parents were *not* killed and he became Batman anyway because of his deducation to justice and his love for Gotham.
Booster Gold should be a Blue Lantern at this point. Dudes literally doing everything he can for improvement and to help others. But is constantly met with trauma n tragedy. Give him a break.
I think what is even worse is Catwoman and Batman doesn't even get married for the most idiotic of reasons. Imagine going out of your way to give someone a gift just to be traumatized, they don't even remember it, and the reason why you gave them the gift never happened because of something that is such a non-issue. I would be so freaking mad.
I havent read a lot of him but Booster gold seems like the embodiment of: "please dont touch anything else, we dont even know how you havent break anything important yet"
It sucks that for that Booster has always just had "egotistical loser that ALWAYS screws with the timeline" as his go to character archetype for anything in tv or movies. It's like they just genuinely do not know how to write him
Booster's gift was not specifically to give Bruce his parents back. It was to make Bruce appreciate how him being Batman affects those around him for the better. He got the idea from when Superman entered the Fortress of Solitude and examined what the world would be like without Superman; he came out more happy with his life. Bruce, suffice to say, did not. Even after everything was fixed, Bruce was left questioning if he would let Gotham burn if his father somehow came to his world. Functioning as a setup to City of Bane.
Imagine trying to literally be a giga chad best friend to Batman only for him to take himself out. The mofo who literally was one of the only people who had the kill option automatically unlocked just through sheer force of will when he picked up a green lantern ring. Jesus Christ… I can definitely see why booster gold stopped being the happy go lucky wise cracking jokester anymore. Cause yeessssssh! Whoever wrote that comic, I hope you got the help you needed. 😬
Wow... Seeing Green Lantern off himself with his own ring, which isnt supposed to be able to harm him, yet managing to pull it off with his insane willpower is just mind blowing, as well as downright tragic. If the world got to the point that Green Lantern killed himself with his own ring, you know that world is doomed to hell.
Shouts out to that time batman chose to save his parents in another timeline, but in seeing the caped crusader was inspired to grow up to be the hepo of gotham anyways.

That light saber design was literally based on a toy that they released a few years ago, where it was an unusually large light saber, but you twist the held, and the light saber dagger would come out of the end.
Worst. Wedding gift. Ever.
Are clones sentient?
There's canonically a Batman story where Bruce's parents were *not* killed and he became Batman anyway because of his deducation to justice and his love for Gotham.
Crazy how time travellers know their actions have unpredictable consequences, yet they still try.
Pure Foolishness
The moral of ALL DC time travel stories: don't fuck with time.
Booster Gold should be a Blue Lantern at this point. Dudes literally doing everything he can for improvement and to help others.
But is constantly met with trauma n tragedy.
Give him a break.
So that’s where that hilarious image of batman holding a gun to his head comes from
Booster Gold really had a bruh moment in the end.
The fact he thought about someone other than himself is the real surprise here, booster isn’t that type of guy
It is a ridiculous story written by people who barely understand any of these characters.
"wHy dOn'T pEoPLe bUY coMiCS AnYmORe?"
Booster goes thru some crazy stories and I feel like he's not appreciated enough for his capability and skill set. He worth his weight in ...GOLD!!!!
This is exactly the reason no matter how much or many times you have the power to change time it will always still happens on the other side
I havent read a lot of him but Booster gold seems like the embodiment of: "please dont touch anything else, we dont even know how you havent break anything important yet"
what ever anyone says, Booster Gold will never ever be a hero to me
That image is priceless
NEVER EVER MESS WITH FIXED POINTS IN TIME it only ends badly for everyone including the person that is trying to do the good deed for someone else
Booster legit can never catch a break
Booster Gold, the Greatest Hero the World will never know. Loved that comic. He's my favorite DC hero.
For future reference Booster: something handmade. That's the best gift for him.
“Died to gun violence” is a really really weird way to say “murdered.”
Great example of the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Green Lantern is acting like a Yellow Vampire 💀
It sucks that for that Booster has always just had "egotistical loser that ALWAYS screws with the timeline" as his go to character archetype for anything in tv or movies. It's like they just genuinely do not know how to write him
Booster Gold looksmaxxed so hard that Green Lantern and Batman killed themselves right in front of him.
For a goofball, Booster Gold has some wild ass stories bruh smh 😮
That got darker than I initially anticipated
Thomas and Martha Wayne dying by gun violence must be a nexus event or something.
IDK I can think of a worse gift. Like a mug that says "best Uncle ever" when I'm in fact the father
Time Masters: “How long we gotta deal with this shit til He becomes the goat?”
One thing I've learned from these stories/ scenarios is that your life may be shit but it can always be worse.
Bro destroyed Batman’s life, made him literally go insane, and then end himself and has the nerve to say that booster gold got ptsd
I absolutely loved this story I remember when it was coming out.
Would love to get a booster gold movie. But directed like marvel movies pre end game.
Booster gold deserves a tv series because he's such a good character
Booster “ ima fix your life for your birthday bro”
Life: “ nah ima do my own thing”
No good deed, goes Unpunished. It's Sad.
I also have PTSD from violence(not gun violence just violence)
Shouts out to that time batman chose to save his parents in another timeline, but in seeing the caped crusader was inspired to grow up to be the hepo of gotham anyways.
This is one of my favorite booster comics there is alot of people talkn shit because gunn is making a booster show. Bro the moment he announced it instantly i was blown away this is the comic that got me into loving booster
