Shah's character is very confused and strange. He still doesn't understand what he wants. Here he loves mehru & also he wants to leave mehru and marry with amal. Due to which Shah is now becoming boring.
On the other hand Mehru's goal is clear. She knows what she wants to do.

I personally believe the makers did a great job writing shah's character. His confusing behavior is a perfect portrayal of the clashes between his upbringing and his conscience. In one side he loves meharu for challenging his ethics and questions his wrongdoings on his face where on the other hand he is very much influenced by his mother ,as if his whole upbringing was revolved around him being a politician. He himself seemed torn between his feelings and judgement. A very well written grey character.
Gray character for sure… but i am losing all respect for him certainly a self- respecting girl like Mehru should not care about him. He’s selfish and spineless.

I too feel he is a mixed up chr. Nothing wrong in showing conflict between personal like and vengeance for his brother! But he is being shown as a mama's puppet with no personality on his own. In the initial episodes he was not like that. he had his own assertive personality. His own mom looked up to him with love and respect. suddenly he is reduced to agreeign with whatever mom is saying. And the way he treats Amal is also confusing. Earlier he was not really bothered, now suddenly he is being sweet but still treating her so badly! Amal kind of chrs , do they still exist in real?
