After a lot of hard grinding, I finally pulled off a sub 9. This has been my goal since I got my first sub 10 which was 8 months ago, I got close many times like getting 9:0X times twice but I did it.
About the run
Standard overworld, good nether with good terrain except at the bastion, silly 25+ seconds mistake by dropping my fish when going to the fortress (I probably thought it was leather). Good rates and blaze spawns (Wither skeleton head drop :O), the most scripted ruined portal placement I've ever seen (Saved the run by far), Good overworld split with a gapple craft, wealthy amount of beds, pearls, and food. Good stronghold nav with not-the-best zero cycle at the end!
