- Whats happening guys, in todays video we feature this MK7 Golf GTD that came into us for a Stage 1 map and Dyno runs before and after.
we first dynod the car to see what it was running before we mapped it, it ran 189bhp and 401nm torque, we then mapped the car and ran it on the dyno again, this time it made 224bhp and 448nm torque!!

would you map a stage 1 on one of these if it had 80 000 miles on it?
I just put revo stage 1 on my gtd 2.0 and now i have 236hp and 515nm

Thats quite odd. My CR150 went from 162hp and 365nm to 203bhp and 459nm with a stage 1+ remap.
These CR184's can easily do about 480nm.
What did the stage 1 + include? Dpf off exhaust. Inter cooler?Manual, dsg. Guessing manual with them claimed torque figures 🤔👍 as ldd as o who mapped it. Cheers
@@mnl493x Stock engine with a slight modified intake for slight lower IAT.
Its a manual.
The EA288 doesnt have an intercooler by the way. It has a chargecooler.
Compared my car to the same car (same size wheels etc) with claimed 190hp. Everytime I was much quicker. So I doubt the dyno was overreading the power figures.

Mine got 235HP and 500NM. It's a beast now.

new golf 8 GTD. DSG 7 , can you remap this vehicle yet I understanding a new car, Not a lot of people do it at moment too my knowledge. The stock claimed figures 200bhp 400nm. If so after remap estimate figures? Cheers nice vid.

@@DKTuninghq seems like just downloaded a map thats made for all mk7 gtds
@@Psgamer-vu2hp not sure how you worked that out. We also logged and tuned from these logs. A generic downloaded map wouldn’t get these kind of results
Over here tuners manage to get 240hp and about 500nm out of these GTD's 🤔

Seems a soft map, even for a stage 1
I have a golf gtd 7.5 manual and looking at getting a remap..I've seen all the figures for BHP and torque but what's the 0-60 times...is it the same as a GTi or better?.. and also does a remap knacker the engine...(never had a remap before so bit cautious) cheers👍
@@Ej-en2lz that's the kind of answer I was looking for... straight to the point with no bull💩... still not had it done yet due to massive price increase on fuel so I've held off a bit as I don't know how bad it would be on fuel consumption with a remap..but like any engine, the more you thrash it the more it'll cost....but I can live with that if I got below 6 for 0-60 time's 😊😊😊😊
@@Ej-en2lz yeah I've heard Revo are reliable for tuning, last thing I need is a £18k motor being f@#ked....that's good to hear that the fuel is the same as I mainly drive motorway most days so I average 55-60mpg which is very good for a gtd I think..on Fridays I go home a different way home from work where it's all country lanes and 60mph...and no speed camera's 😁😁😁.... that's my fun time... Even with the standard power I have the car is fun, would love the golf r but I do a 40 mile round trip to work each day so would need a bank loan to fund it lol...hence wanting the remap, close to a golf r but with still good mpg...good all-rounder 👍
Have you had it done yet? I’ve exact same car as you GTD 7.5 manual just being cautious and doing my research first
@@lewishenderson6379 I haven't unfortunately, had a few new toy's instead which cost a few pennies 😂..but I still have plans for it sometime this year but have been told to go with revo, more expensive but less risks involved...
Just had my Octavia RS, which has the same engine, mapped by Revo. incredible difference, the car felt gutless before especially in second, but it has completely transformed the engine
