Huge Raider fan and sat in the cold, driving rain with my 9 year old daughter for the entire game. The look I got by my better half when I got home was richly deserved but my daughter cherishes the experience to this day.............
Well, since no one has or will comment on this game, I remember it. I remember a game way back in the day when I was younger when Big Lincoln Kennedy stonewalled Strahan...this was the game. Haven't watched it since 2001. Just did. Loved it!!! Can't wait for the raiders to get back to the post season again and actually win!
I love it I love it Rich Gannon used to play for my Vikings. Rich Gannon a great Viking, the Vikings have had a lot of great quarterbacks over the years.
Raiders were a lot of fun to watch back then, a loaded roster, a good mix of great veterans and great young players. I'm getting that feeling again for the first time in a long time. Right now a month away from 2021 draft we have 8 selections, maybe more if we trade. Bring in a fresh OLB, RT Safety, CB and some young depth. I still want Sherman at free-safety. I predict 11 wins in 2021
I was in basic training and AIT in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. I didn't get to watch any football that season except the playoff game in the divisional round... 🤬🤬
Same here, I was in basic training at fort benning during 9-11 and graduated OSUT in December 2001 about two weeks after this game happened. So I did get to see the last quarter of the season for our Raiders!
before the NFL was ruined by the social justice warriors I was at this game.... so many Raider fans were. Pouring rain, we dominated the whole game ..... I'll never forget that - at some point when we put the game out of reach (it may have been a Collins' interception), watching the Giants' fans walking up the stairs and heading for the exits. All of us Raider fans headed down to the lower tiered seats and got closer to the field. Gruden did a victory lap and was giving out high fives. It was a great day to be a Raider fan
