Back when ACLOTM album was new, Priceless was one of the few songs that I didn't quickly take a liking to. After Alive @ Red Rocks DVD came out and I saw this, it completely changed the song for me. Mike Einziger is amazing!
I admit it took me years to really appreciate this album... But after getting back into guitar and studying the playing on crow, this album it has made me really appreciate this era of Incubus. Or as I call it the Jazzmaster period. I dare say this album has Mike's most technical guitar work... Many of the riffs and licks on this album sound simple but if you actually look up how to play them they're far more difficult than anything before IMO (not saying technical play always equals good but you get what I mean). Sick sad little world has become one of my top three Incubus songs actually. It's funny cuz Light Grenades was the same for me... I didn't really love it until years later. Science, Make Yourself and Morning View all three immediately stuck to me like glue upon their release but crow and Light Grenades both took time to mature and grow on me almost like a fine wine, but god do I now realize what killer albums they are. I hope that 8 will end up the same way in time.
It's my favorite album by them. I'm a drummer and Jose just goes mad on the drums on crow...Zee Deveel and Agoraphobia are two of my favorite songs to play
They have stated in many interviews that they make music that makes themselves happy first and rightfully so but that if people (fans) happen to like it then that’s just a bonus. I would agree with one of the previous posters that Mikie is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time and Incubus is one of the most underrated rated bands of all time.

OK I knew nothing about band prior to "Drive" . B.B.was so "cute" I stereotyped as emo corporate - created douches.Recently heard Idiot Box live.These guys surprised me. I was wrong. I talked shit back then so I'm owning it. Peace

Megalomaniac and Here In My Room are freaking awesome but this song and Smile Lines are my top 2 favorite songs off of this album.
