Hey guys just remember no matter where you get stuck in your travels have time to breath to be greatful for the life you have some others would only wish to have always try think posotive of the situation 😊
Mexico is beautiful! I miss it. Thank for sharing your adventure and your mis adventure of Jambo. Glad to see you back on the road again. Be safe! And enjoy.
Great video, showing the the challenges and unexpected opportunities, of a travel adventure like yours. Glad you got it sorted and pleased you were in a convenient place to hole up. Reminded me of Next Meridians saga of Nick's knee surgery. At least you guys are safe, comfortable, and, it was only 3 weeks.
Good to see you are back posting content again. Glad everything worked out well with the pesky water pump. Seems like it turned out to be a couple of weeks well spent.
Such fun & adventure in your journey. Learning a lot about yourselves & each other. It was a perfect place to breakdown - in the heart of Mexico. You couldn’t have planned it better. ❤❤❤ Safe travels.
Hey folks! Howdy from Texas! Was wondering where y’all ended up..thanks for the update and looking forward to the adventure couples trip to the next destination! Be safe!
Glad to see a new video come out. So I guess the breakdown led to a happy surprise of adventure. You got to see things that you will remember. So are you going to send the water pump to your dad to get it rebuilt, and shipped back as a spare? Can't wait to see the next location on the trip.
Good video. Somehow I missed it and am now catching up. It very much reminded me of my less prosperous, ie. broke, days when I drove a very old Ford. The pump went out and I thought I could take my wife to work, get the part, install it, and pick her up at the end of the day. NO WAY DID THAT HAPPEN. I got the part, but I didn't have something else, which 45 years later I cannot remember. In any case I had to ride my bike five miles, get the thing, ride back and try to install the pump. However, in my case, I also had to remove the radiator. Mind you, this was at a time when I knew zero about car repairs. I thought it would be an easy job and save me money. It wasn't. My wife had to find an alternate way home! In the end, I should have just paid someone to fix it. One thing about these overland journeys is, you should have skills to fix your vehicle, if necessary. On the other hand, Eva does it and does not have any skills. Also, Noraly of Itchy Boots does not fix her motorcycle, and she does it too. Having skills though is always a good thing. I will try to keep up with your vids from now on. Too bad you don't have more subs. I think more vids may help.
Wow, what a story! Thankfully Cody is a pretty good mechanic after rebuilding the engine in our Land Cruiser. If he has the parts he can fix just about anything these days.
We know more overlanders that are carrying a starlink than a spare water pump 😂 you would also be quite unlikely to find one that does anything more than basic maintenance
Today, I made an observation about why Eva zu Beck is so popular. I believe she writes a narrative. A story with a message. Something from her heart that is kind of universal. Her videos are not about locations, per se, but more. I also believe she is appealing because she is a single woman traveling alone. And, she is cute. Being attractive is always good. When My wife was young, she was a man magnet. She had a job at an electrical supply business. She said the men lined up down the hall to welcome her to work every day! I didn't worry because she was not the cheating kind and she was committed to me. Anyway, interesting places, interesting message, unique type of traveler, appealing looking woman. Now, she also has a dog that is endearing. People will watch videos just to see a type of dog they own or owned. We had two Yellow Labs. I would watch any traveler with a Yellow Lab! Her drone shots are good. Some of her shots are actually amazing and beautiful. She has it all together. As they say in Hollywood, "she has the package". Many people do not have all together. There has to be something about the person, what they are doing, where they are going, and how they put it all together. I'm never going to do one of these trips, but I analyze why some channels are successful and many are not. I also look at singers and try to figure out why some only have 3K subs and others have hundreds of thousands or millions. It isn't always easy to figure out. Anyway, I hope you do not have more problems with Jambo, but old vehicles can be a big hassle. I never owned a new one until I was 45. A couple were always on the verge of dying. I had two towed away for scrap when they quit.
I agree , the cooking is nice to see..
What a gorgeous place to get stranded
Homemade guacamole is the best. 😋

Hello, good video. I don't know this product cross check torque seal, thank you for you tips 🙌

Thanks for watching! No, our Land Cruiser is common in South America so it will be easier to find parts if needed as we head further south.

Any idea if the broken pump was the original?
No idea. The engine was imported from Japan and installed in the US by the previous owner.
Did you not think to carry a spare water pump like most other overlanders do
We know more overlanders that are carrying a starlink than a spare water pump 😂 you would also be quite unlikely to find one that does anything more than basic maintenance
I guess that break down was meant to be. Aren't you glad you didn't just drive on by?
Definitely!
Lmfao @ The guy hitting people not dancing
That celebration was interesting 😁

This is no original Toyota LC75 engine. Think is one of 60 or so ? The original 1HZ engine is the most reliable in the world.
Correct, it's a 12HT from a Japanese 60 series. The original engine was a 2H since it's an HJ75 Troopy.
Yes, you are so right 1HZ engine is the best for going on journey over the world.
