That sounds perfect for that car. No need to be rowdy/ratchet.
ford fucked up the thunderbird so badly it pisses me off as a mustang guy. they were supposed to be better than the corvette. they were. until like 1960
These are such cool vehicles. I'm glad this one has a good exhaust sytem on it so you can enjoy that V8 rumble without it being overbearing.
It will deepen once he gets some miles on it but I am happy he didn't go to an Atak system. It would have been too much for such a small V8 sound wise.
No it won't. Exhaust do not deepen. They are deep or are not deep.
@@FirstnameLastname-pe5ib You know nothing about Borla exhaust systems. The packing material they use to silence them break in. It take two to three weeks of using them. As a result the tone change and they actually go up in volume. This happens with all exhaust systems that uses a packing material as their sound absorption like fiberglass or nylon. Search on UA-cam for "Borla Exhaust System Broken In" and you will see vehicles when they first install this system and then a few weeks later. It's a big difference. That's why you research what you want before you spend the money on any type of muffler or exhaust. It might sound one way when you're first install it but can change into something that you do not like.
WAYYYY quiet but still a TON better than the typical trumpet sounding cars othat's on here with V6's
Sounded better on the send off.
Perfect sound for a T-Bird. 😎👍
Sounds really good when taking off 👍
Sounds good
I've always hated the 3000 rpm rev limiters on the 3.9v8
yea that really weird why they had those.
I experienced that at work the other day with one that came in. It's pretty annoying
U gotta love that jaguar engine sound but maaan that stupid government limiter tho
Sounds good under load.
Man that sounds amazing
I am putting in a vote for a future update!
There's an even rarer version of the Ford Thunderbird. I'm talking about the ones from the 1950s.
Buddy has a 57 that is 5.0 swapped.
3.9 v8 thats awesome but definitely not loud enough
Its the way the inside and outside should sound.
A bit quiet for me. Maybe if the guy removed the 3rd cat it might sound a bit deeper. I don't know where any of the sensors are in these cars tho. Either way thats one clean bird.
I'd love to hear it without cats
Cool
I believe those are Borla Pro-XS not S-Types. Just a heads up!
That’s what I thought.
True, they are Borla ProXS Mufflers 40658
Nice asl
It's sounds like a vacuum cleaner sucked up a fart!
Who showed this man how to rev 😂
Sounds good. 3.9L is kinda small for a V8, what’s the smallest V8 put into a production car?
Probs the smallest of anything 2000+
This is why we have google friend
1975 Ferrari 208 GT4 , came with a 2.0L V8 lol
Audi, Ferrari, etc. Uses smaller V8's. 3.0l in fact.
Every bird before it had a bigger V8, hell the V6 was almost bigger. But this generation made the most HP by a good amount too. The Supercoupe's put out somewhere in the 230hp, and this little bastard is rated at 252hp.
Ferrari F40 has a 2.9L v8
I had one.... part's are hard to find....mine was black to....I didn't keep it transmission problems...I will be honest it was not a good buy....was fun to drive.... it's not a loud car even with pipes...
These would be a great Coyote platform
3.9 v8? Not sure i knew about that one.
Its a jaguar sourced v8 the thunderbird and lincoln Ls were based on jaguar platformes that ford used after they bought jaguar
@@thundermite1241 neat. I'd like to see some smaller v8's like that instead of all the turbo i4s and v6s used in trucks.
Best exhaust for Jeep grand Cherokee 3.6L?
Depends on what you want! Check out our channel we have plenty of Jeep Grand Cherokees w/ the 3.6L V6!
he doesnt know how to rev?
Just a tad to quiet, but at least it's not unbearable
Way too quiet
Too quiet !!!
Sounds good
