I surely wish welding was one of my skills. Watching this project has got me thinking about finally learning it. EXCELLENT! By the way also very handsome and original design of the house.

Looks great! However, I'm afraid you're going to find that the metal in contact with the ground will rust very quickly. Wish I had that much energy though!
Craig Bielsky concrete absorbs and holds water as well. Especially when there is a hole on the top, as in this case. Water will collect and rust the metal at the ground and below.
