You should have gotten a top link with the valve that stops the cylinder from bleeding off. This top link will need adjustment as you use it because of it slowly bleeding down. The hydraulic top link I put on my tractor has this valve and it won't "settle" at all even when I have alot of weight on it for weeks.
Where Did you get You top link? I need one for my cat 2. Been looking for one for awhile that's reasonably priced. I need for my logging winch, Flailmower, Bushhog ect. . Thanks.
Your cylinder is twice as large as it needs to be and you should always get a top link with a pilot valve so the cylinder position stays where you set it instead of drifting down.
I took off my old bracket and put it in the tool box on the tractor and sucked my hydraulic 3rd arm in and made a holder for my 3rd arm leaving a 1/2 play to hold it close to the same way the other holder holds the stock 3rd arm.
This is NOT a shill vid, I paid full price for this top link and its been flawless. Still really happy with the upgrade, and I highly recommend these units. Lol, you make it seem like it’s so difficult to set your top link right. I guess for people that don’t really use tractors or that are kind of new to it. They will believe this. But it’s not that difficult people.

Dead right it's called an anti creap valve I have that on mine and wouldn't be without it

@@73leo73. 👍 Thank you. I'll try to find their web site and check them out.
Looks like it will really work well for you. Thanks for the video.
Now that is the cat’s meow right there 🐱

It is very common to put the cylinder end on the equipment on hydro toplinks. You'll want a hose support.
Good job with the vid. Where did you get the sheathing to cover your hoses?
nice upgrade!
Nice addition

Good information ! Thanks . God Bless !!!
Glad it was helpful!
Close it as stops damaging the seals if dirt sticks around the shaft
What size tractor is that and how long is your Hydraulic cylinder
I was wondering the same thing.
No response? I'm wondering the same

#1, why don't you get a more wobbly vise?
#2, that last disclaimer about 3-points is wrong.
I won't operate a box blade without a top link cylinder. Your gonna tear up the pto guard
Don’t you have the “Mahindra is A POS” video??
