I think the best skill in the game is a bit of a stretch, she just doesn’t have the versatility of kingpin imo. When I’m looking at a skill champion my #1 concern is debuff countering and Kate’s debuff counter isn’t very strong in situations where you really need it. Also kingpin doesn’t require as much maintenance to keep doing damage, not that Kate’s coldsnaps are all that hard to keep up but they can fall off, where kingpin can just pound the opponent for days
I do think she’s better than Fury and Valk tho, she is extremely strong still
I absolutely do not disagree with anything you wrote about KP. I feel there is a tier of KP, Kate, Valk and Fury. Maybe Shang, but so much comes down to the players themselves
I think at the end of the day it comes down to the player(plus of course it’s a game so if you love Kate you should rank her) I’ll stick with kingpin for now but with the release of 8.3 and maybe a new Abyss of legends type content I could see Kate maybe overtaking him, enjoy your new r5!

She was the only champ I instantly took to rank 4 after I pulled from the featured. She kills it everywhere and her design is amazing

She’s incredible! Two tips I have
1) seems like she can side step + light intercept most champions, super good for getting openings if needed, especially if you hold block a lot to prompt a pause on passives from heavy retaliation
2) at the start of every BG matchup, throw the light into a 5 combo, then reposte. 1 medium into the passive stun, back off, one full combo, gets you straight into SP1 at R5. If opponent parries from the start, reposte will save you (providing the champ doesn’t ignore evade)
She is awesome.. after I saw ur video I thought I’ll give it a shot and see how fun she feels.. like u said it’s so cool and fun to play with her.
bro, your perfect release is CLUTCH. i was doing it where i let the entire animation run at normal speed then let go at the glisten. slowing it down is so much more consistent my goodness

You should try heavy countering more often, for instance on hulklings sp2? It refreshes your coldsnap and pushes them back and gives you the miss counter. I heavy as much as possible with her.

I feel that whenever someone makes review videos the first thing they should start with is do they need awaken or not.
She looks great Vega! I just have to take the time to learn how to play her. I don't understand the perfect release mechanic yet but I'll give it a try for sure.
Kate is my favourite champ to play bar none. I hoarded mats to R5 her as soon as the new featured dropped. Don't regret it at all, she's so versatile and that coldsnap DOT is so reliable

Also Kate's underrated utility is heavying opponent to the wall with longer you hold. Helps keep the fight in control and utilize space better. Never get cornered.

You said phenomenal a phenomenal amount of time which I think is phenomenal. As a recoil player I’m wondering if its worth r5 and ascending her or whether its a phenomenal risk?
I think it may be phenomenally difficult as she throws her specials a phenomenal amount
I keep wanting to take mine to r4 but the bgs metas call for other skill champs. The crit meta definitely works better for stealthy imo

She's good, mine is R4, sig 100+. She has a flow and this month VT and her long SP/Heavy animation were not a good fit. Even removed her from my deck at some point. So yes she is good, but not the top skill. Top skill in certain situation. KP has a broader range.

Don't think she's quite top of skill. Nick fury still reigns supreme for me (but you must run max deep wounds) and needs sig200 for defence and he's the biggest timewaster. Kingpin as well is also just a monster and I know valk has her die-hard fans. Kate is defo top 4 maybe 3rd but I dont think she'll top NF or KP.
I pulled her but I dont think to rank up her cause I use suicides 😔

King Pin can play anywhere. That's why he's the best. Kate Bishop is not immune. Therefore, it will never belong to the top. 🫴 But she is good ❤
