- Authorities in Moscow have increased security after the head of the Wagner mercenary group claimed to have seized control of all military sites in the city of Rostov-on-Don, and demanded Russia’s military leadership come to him after accusing them of killing his forces. Vladimir Putin gave an emergency televised address on Saturday accusing Yevgeny Prigozhin of urging an 'armed rebellion'.

Then you know very little about history. If it happened there it can happen anywhere. Even here. This is right on track with the great collapse theory that by the mid 2030s, every major power will collapse into civil war or shatter like Yugoslavia back in the '90s. If the theory is correct, Russia should fall to a true civil war by the end of the year with the US falling in the 2024 election cycle, and right after that the PRC should fall apart under their own weight. Assuming the theory is correct. It started back in 2008 and gained some prominence during occupy. Now, Russia is on the verge of collapse, the US is seeing its own rebellions forming every year with fighting going on between rival political groups from as low as the street level all the way up to the highest level of governance, and the CCP is fractured beyond repair and their economy is a ticking time bomb. The next few years won't be pretty regardless if the theory is right or not.

This is beyond fascinating. If Wagner‘s leader say you can scrounge up another 20,000 volunteers? Then you have the regular army possibly fracturing in certain locations. But here’s the wildcard. They’re in a war with Ukraine who has some 210 thousand soldiers stretched a cross that 600 800 mile Defense of line. They need to prepare to break through very quickly here.

Some people do not seem to grasp the implications of civil war and instability inside of a nuclear armed country. This is not a game you can play in your basement. Just saying, events will unfold and you better be ready for things to get quickly out of hand if they have any greater success with this coup.
That will depend on if the Russians have been maintaining their nukes. People forget that nukes have a shelf life of 15 years, and it's been over 30 since the fall of the soviet union.
