Thank you for making this walkthrough my friend! Excited about this release (as I look at my old bin of 4 track cassettes that inspired this)

I usually make my own sounds after purchasing Omnisphere libraries. Are the Prophet 12 samples well recorded in order for me to make my own sounds from the samples? The sounds are fine but I like to experiment with new samples and the Prophet 12 has a very distinctive analog flavour not found in Omnisphere. Are all 37 samples well recorded from what you can tell? Cheers, top walkthrough video, got me pretty convinced to purchase.

Yes the samples are very well recorded and looped. The cassette effects are baked into the samples so they are actually Prophet 12 plus an added extra, which makes them even more unique.

Oh yes, I pride myself in properly looped and mastered custom samples. I don't use autosampler for one. Each sample was literally me recording 15 seconds of each octave into Logic. Then working on the FX chain to get the sound I was looking for. I then use EndlessWAV to manually loop each and every sample - sometimes having to spend a lot of time to get just the proper loop point that also captures the natural presence that comes and goes (or you get abrupt tonal shifts at the loop point). These samples are begging for more techy users to go in and create their own patches with. You also get a full drum kit from an obscure digital drum machine which is a nice bonus. I also treated the tek.drum to a few different cassette fx for some variation. I also agree that the P12 does have a unique flavour - it is actually found in most of my collections as well (although you will find some Radias, Sub Phatty, MatrixBrute and in the future, SuperNova tones).

You have convinced me so I think I will purchase this week. I have played around with Omnisphere for a while but have decided to make a library focusing on classic IDM from the early 90's. I really like Omnisphere but do not feel it has many library options for lovers of electronic music. @@RockyMountainSounds
