What is the Gobar Gas and how to produce it and how does it work?
In short, gobar gas is biogas, but not all biogas can be called as gobar gas.
In general, the term biogas refers to any “a mixture of methane and carbon dioxide produced by the bacterial decomposition of organic wastes and used as a fuel.” It means that biogas can be made from a wide range of raw materials like cow dung, expired food from supermarket shelves, food waste from restaurants, caterers, and households etc.
This gas is the cheapest and Govt of India gives subsidy up to 90% as material and set up cost to move India towards using renewable energy.
