I am from Kolkata and Kolkata is my motherland, I like this video soo much. It shows the very minute details of Kolkata Bazaar, so nicely and is so full of information. Hats off to the cinematographer. And the first scene of the Howrah Bridge with pigeons flying, depict the true beauty of Kolkata in the morning.
I am not able to find episode 1 actually my birth place is Kolkata but I grown up in Delhi and stay here only I have been visited many Indian places but there is something about Kolkata my nani used to stay in SN Banerjee road the memories and feelings which I have is priceless I still visit my uncles place and the memories are keeping me alive❤ I have been missing Kolkata and found this video ❤. The charm which this city has is not comparable it’s not always about money and luxuries but something which is natural and truly beautiful.

When Bengal was undivided on that time it used to be only in Dhaka. Not even in other cities of Bangladesh. This Sharee was so valuable that only Bengal's Sultans, Local Zamindars could afford it for their woman. Same goes for MUSLIN Sharee. It used to be one of the most valuable cloth existed on that time, Queen Elizabeth had one of this, now its preserved it in Royal British Museum. Even Romans wrote about this fine muslin choths. 10th roman empire, the magnificent Ottoman empire Sultan Suleiman praised it. Of course, Bengal was glorified & wealthiest part of India on that time. But now Bengal is divided. And Bangladesh got GI(Geographical indicator) for both of that not India.

The had probably developed in Dhaka, but it’s not like Dhaka is the only place where it’s made these days.
@@ObitoUchiha10089 Jamdani is Dhaka's traditional Sharee, Its birth place is Dhaka. ykw, coffee was first started in Middle East. Now, Kolkata has coffee too. But that doesn’t mean kolkata is the birth place of it! UNESCO announced Jamdani as a geographical indicator of Bangladesh not India.
The cinematography in these bazar travels videos is outstanding. Along with the acoustics work. I have been to most of the places that you showed in Delhi and Kolkata videos and, you guys have captured such a dreamy vibe. Delhi shopping trip is incomplete without mention of Sarojini market but, that is a bit challenging to put a dreamy spin on. These videos capture the essence of Indian bazaars. I love it! Thanks.
