- Following up his fairytale story of securing the MFN Contract from the AIMMAA Nationals x MFN Contenders the debutant underdog Dinesh Singh Naorem secured a stellar shocking win against the vicious Arsenba Ozukum, AKA ‘Nightmare’ of Nagaland, in a Flyweight bout.
While Arsenba dominated the first round like a machine gun with nasty leg kicks, Dinesh was not ready to give up. He delivered a brutal kick and took down his opponent via second-round TKO.
Dinesh took home his first-ever MFN win, and Arsenba failed to continue his win streak.

Both fighters have talent. They have good fight IQ too and it will only get better with experience and mistakes. Arsenba was winning the striking game but in the heat of the moment, both fighters decided to grapple out a bit. Arsenba had some success in grappling initially but Dinesh been the better grapple reverse position and took control. Looking at this fight, we see a lot of potential for both fighters but Dinesh has a very good chance to go all the way with a strong martial arts base such as wrestling. Dinesh ground and pound game in this fight shows how strong he is when he is on top.
Hell of a fight by the two, but the one dominating in the first round should play his own game since he is a pure striker of the game. On technical terms, the takedown was unnecessary against the more superior wrestler. Mistakes are made in MMA, and lessons are learned too. Good luck. 👍🏼

Dinesh is from my town, every evening when we go for run, he work out on road side alone with full sweat. He is real champ, very hard working person & also coming from very poor family.
