I don't know how many vintage blank tapes I have but I'm guessing well over 1000 in total. 🤔 I do have a few BASF tapes from 1971 (C60 (orange shell), C90 (green shell), C120 (blue shell) - the C120 is rare) in the "slot window" style. I own 1 x TDK D-C180 from 1972/73 and 1 x TDK D-180 from 1982 - brand new old stock. These are considered fairly rare and very expensive. I also have Sony (AHF, BHF, CHF) and Maxell (LN, UD, UL, UR) tapes in various lengths from the '70s and '80s (no clear shell styles). Finally I have a handful of Rainbow "Music For Pleasure" C90's from the '70s (these have transparent coloured shells) - extremely hard to find in good condition. I also have several official store-bought tapes with albums on them so they're not all blanks. It's nice to have a collection of vintage tapes (new or used) in your inventory - a piece of nostalgia. 😎
Thank you for sharing your experience. Well, my cassette collection may not have 1000 pieces. But I am getting close to that number. I do buy used cassettes from time to time. Interesting and rare ones always come up. I am glad that I am not the only one who likes old equipment.
@@restoration-RC-Studio I did a quick count up on Sunday and I discovered I have at least 1100+ tapes (mixture of used and new old stock including many that are still factory-sealed - normal bias as well as chrome and metal types). 😊 I noticed that you got an empty case with j-card but no tape in it. Spare case maybe? 🤔
A very rare Basf Chromdioxid 120 audio cassette. I have one in my collection 😇
It's a very nice Basf Chome Maxima II 100 for me!
