Could the Sopwith Camel beat The Red Baron - and can I buy and fly one today?

The Sopwith Camel was a British fighter aircraft that gained fame during World War I, as it was one of the most successful Allied planes, downing 1,294 enemy aircraft - more than any other Allied fighter of the time. The Camel was a challenging aircraft to fly, with sensitive controls that allowed skilled pilots to execute impressive maneuvers. The Vickers machine gun, located in the hump-like cowling over the cockpit, was a distinctive feature of the Camel, which made it an effective fighter. The Camel's most famous opponent was the Fokker Dr.I triplane, flown by the Red Baron, Manfred von Richthofen. In fact, Richthofen was killed in his red Dr.I during a dogfight with a Camel!

Scott Mathews Channel on YT is uploading weekly as he builds a Camel (Lookalike) Replica featuring welded Steel-tube Fuselage & riveted Aluminium Tube Wings & Tailfeathers, with a Radial Engine. He's already built a Zenith 2-seat High-Wing STOL Recreational Aircraft..., and it's a lovely series he's making.
"Sopwith Camel Build Project" is the name to look for, as a Video Title.
Other than that,
The Shuttleworth Collection is operating a Camel built in Kiwiland by Peter Jackson's pet subsidised Replica WW-1 Aeroplane Manufacturer, built to the original Plans, meeting the original Specifications, with an original Rotary Engine, original Guns, original Instruments...; basically a Factory Fresh Brand New Camel.
I think the job involved building a Camel, a BE-2c, and an RE-8, all original EVERYTHING,
