Short answer yeah you can but you’re gonna have a mixed bag when it comes to the puppies. You shouldn’t do it if you want consistency in your breedings. Just my opinion

Saw a litter for sale the other day with a couple of pups with really weak pasterns. Not the whole litter but several. I wondered if they would ever grow into them enough to be even pet quality sound.
Frequentl walks, raised food bowl and water helps. Yes they can be pet quality

i do not think that what you said was based on science or facts but your assumpiton becuase i know a few bandog breeders who breed mastiffs to american bullies and none of their pups have high rears or out of proportioon dogs. the american bully itself was designed from cross breeding different size dogs to develop that dog. and i am not striving to be rude but iam just stating facts from putting hands on these dogs from f1 to f2 or bandog crosses. high rears comes from people using poor quality high rear dogs.

I wish more ppl would listen to this. Im so picky about mixing classes. It drives me nuts that all of these so called breeders. Putting dogs together that aren't compatible. Then calling the pups exotics or extreme. No just no. They sould be called culls
