That looks like it could be a fun toy to have on a tractor! You got the hang of it pretty fast. Nice job! Have a good weekend! See ya!

i have the same tractor, my concern would be all the leverage a falling tree can put on loader??? id suck in the cylinders for sure.and release the jaws fast when it falls. just a thought , loaders aint cheap. ps that is one fine tractor! smooth and quiet! minimal computers and sensors.

Agree on all points. There's really not a ton of weight on clip once you cut thru the tree. If you keep the jaws tilted slightly to one side or away from you and put the tractor in reverse it really eases any torquing on the loader and helps keep the tree from falling towards the cab I probably should've taken a couple of those trees down halfway up and then at the ground vs taking them at the ground at the beginning.

a cutting edge on your bucket makes a huge difference peeling sod. the other cheap things i added were hydraulic top link and pats easy change. each was $200-$250 ps the drilling bucket for cutting edge was a bitch! get a few drill bits!

I did the exact same thing with my XR4145. Pat's Quick Hitch and a Wicked Tooth Bar on the bucket. I think I'll move them both over to the TYM. I'll probably just put the new bucket on the old tractor because you're correct - the drilling was a bear!
