@TheMessySweetSpot A background check doesn't mean anything. Walmart does background checks all the time and still ends up hiring theives and scammers. However, staying on topic, the hairstylist stated that she never spoke directly to Netta. She only spoke with Carlos the Mgr. She said to build her portfolio, she took on free jobs for Netta and Carlos made it seem like they didn't have the money but then wanted to be paid AFTER Netta told the people on her live that she wasn't broke.

this report is from the text messages, not from a video of an interview. yes she agreed to do it for free, but if miss netta has all this money. Why not just do right and pay the girl

From the interview, Aisha (hair stylist) said that she didn't have actual phone numbers for Charles, Netta, OR Carlos, explaining that they communicated via Instagram. It was stated that the make-up artist (who Aisha recruited) received a small payment of $150. The hairstylist said she was duped (by the manager) into believing that Netta and Charles didn't have any coin to render for her services... likely because she had styled Netta (pro-bono) in the past. The hairstylist actually had a seat filler ticket for the EBT awards, but was unfortunately roped into a bumpy mess.
